To that idiot below me.
What phone has it's screen made of glass?
Glass would be so much heavier and would break easily on drops, not to mention the sharp pieces would damage not only your hand if you're not careful but also the phone?
yup the t610 has the plastic crappy screen prone to scratches. damn dumb of SE not to make it out of glass. the price of the phone is also going down fast due to the defects it has. just like nokia phone's prices going down quickly.
Yasin Sheikh, what the hell do you do with your phone? Mine is more than a month old and the only scratch is on the side when it slipped out of my pocket. The metal housing is smooth, especially with cloth.
As for screen, no big scratches. Only small ones plastic normally gets.
Do you rather get a phone that is strong and does not damage easily, or one that is actually good?
Then why don't you go for that dead ugly and useless Nokia that is out there? That rubber toy then?
I have purchased T610 about month ago. Now it has many scratches on its almunium body especially LCD should have not been made of plastic, while my GD87 has glass LCD which has resistance against scratches. I therefore suggest that go for either panasonic GD87 or samsung v200. The better is GD87 who has zooming.
Imagine if you had no idea about mobile phones and stumbled across this thread. You might be fooled into thinking its about something important! For those who didn't make this a slagging match thanks for your comments. Keep it real guys, we are talking about phones,...
Camera. What's the difference?
Less sensitive to light (therefore slightly better colour)
Pro: Great looking design. Above avarage battery-life. Excellent poly-ringtones and louder than my Nokia 7250. The screen is bright and clear. No hissing problem...when calling voice clear and crispy.
Con: Can hardly see the screen under the sunlight. 2MB memory instead of 5MB or more. Ok reception. Camera is more clear than Nokia 7250 but is not as colorful as 7250.
Overall: I like this phone, great looks..and has all the functions I need. I recommand y'all to get it if y'all want to get a nice phone. T Mobile currently selling it for $300.
the hissing problem was fixed but now it has the bluetooth crackling sound while using a bluetooth headset. what a let down!
I 100% Agrre with Hunter, Because This cell has a good design and looks very cool.
There is lot of Software for Java and a lot for phones with symbian-OS like the 7650. The T610 has only 2 MB (Some say 4 ?!) for all (Pictures, ringtones, JAVA applications etc.).
So 128 MB would be great.
The 7650 is bigger but if you don`t bother whether it is big, take the 3650 ....
Search in google : Programs 7650 download symbian or something like that.
in Indonesia 7650 memory could be upgraded to 128 Mb, how about this phone..?
how about add. aplications...???
somebody plz answer my question.
PC is better? PC is cheaper, so nearly everyone can buy it. But better ? Ever installed hardware or software on a MAC ?? Your argues are ridicolous. You are using a PC, let me guess, with the gratest installable virus: "WINDOWS", right ??
PS: I use a PC at home too, because can't afford a mac. I only support macs in my company...
Nokia producing their own stuff? Explains why it sucks =P
That's why SE is better. Look at the PC and Mac. Sure, people might argue Mac are better, but we all know PC is still the best. Why? They get companies who specialised in a certain parts and get it from them. We all know those companies who are Jack of All Trades are normally master of none.
All phone manufactures have factories for research and development in china.who wouldn't? Big market, cheap employments...But Nokia's 40% of phones made in Europe. Also Nokia developing own processors and software (platform 60) and SE left this job to others ,low cost, manufacturers.
