Samsung has 40. Numbers doesn't mean better. Look at the P800 and the 3650. Both have 24, but then P800 sounds so much better.
The T610 is more real in it's polyphonic (instruments sounds more realistic), but the Samsung's polyphonic is design for mobile phone's speakers, therefore producing louder clearer sound.
Don't understand? Set your T610's volume to lowest, play a midi on it and listen to it. Have a cloth inbetween your ear and the speaker. You will be able to hear how clear and superb the sound is. Bass and all will be audible.

After purchasing a samsung V200 and being highly dissapointed I decided to opt for a sony ericsson. Ive had sony phones in the past and they have always been great.
Now ill be honest...the phone itself is good, nice features has a great display, however some may say that the 2mb of memory is small. The material used to make the phone attracts smudge marks easily...but u do get a cleaning cloth!
The camera...well its a digital integrated camera designed for picture messaging....not printing out on ya computer...so how it works is fine...there is no digital zoom and pictures are a little dark when in side a dark room...never the less it is a nice novelty to have on the phone.
The sound quality on the phone is superb 32sound at once...ok not as good as the V200 which has 64.
It has voice command, voice memo and voice dial..superb and a magic word feature to activate voice dial and command!
I rate this phone 8.5/10 i would of given it 10 if it had a digital zoom and didnt smudge as easy as it does. Overall its a top top phone and has great appeal...if you want an affordable phone without paying high prices buy one of these! (Mine was free though from the Link on Orange Network)!

Drop a plastic cup and then a glass cup of the same weight? On a weitgh to strength ratio, plastic is stronger as it doesn't shatter like how bristle glass does. Well, I guess he has his brains made out of glass and must have shattered it, no wonder he's thinking like a real faggot rather than normal people who he think are faggots. *Sigh*... some people.. no brains and still want to talk as if they know so much..

Sagem My X-6 is worth better. Almost the same with better camera costs 80 Euros cheaper here in Hungary.

One cannot find better camera phone than T-610, I and my five friends are using this hand set and there is no problem what so ever with any one. The mobile at the moment.

I would worry about the scratches, i have a more pressing problem, This handset should work in the MCA-20 Car kit, with just a cradle change, Which i have done. The call quality in the car is disgusting, i used a T68i with the my car kit before, and it was fine. Where as the T610 has the worst echo in the world, not to me but to the people who call me! I thought the phone was Gr8, until i got i in the Car. Sony Eric were no real help, back to the ole faithfull T68i for me.

No use of discussion of LCD made of Glass or Plastic, I have seen sone samung phones with glass LCD also with lot of scratches, so it useless to discuss such points, the T610 is realy a good phone.

Glass would be so much heavier and would break easily on drops, not to mention the sharp pieces would damage not only your hand if you're not careful but also the phone?

yup the t610 has the plastic crappy screen prone to scratches. damn dumb of SE not to make it out of glass. the price of the phone is also going down fast due to the defects it has. just like nokia phone's prices going down quickly.

Yasin Sheikh, what the hell do you do with your phone? Mine is more than a month old and the only scratch is on the side when it slipped out of my pocket. The metal housing is smooth, especially with cloth.
As for screen, no big scratches. Only small ones plastic normally gets.
Do you rather get a phone that is strong and does not damage easily, or one that is actually good?
Then why don't you go for that dead ugly and useless Nokia that is out there? That rubber toy then?

I have purchased T610 about month ago. Now it has many scratches on its almunium body especially LCD should have not been made of plastic, while my GD87 has glass LCD which has resistance against scratches. I therefore suggest that go for either panasonic GD87 or samsung v200. The better is GD87 who has zooming.

Pro: Great looking design. Above avarage battery-life. Excellent poly-ringtones and louder than my Nokia 7250. The screen is bright and clear. No hissing problem...when calling voice clear and crispy.
Con: Can hardly see the screen under the sunlight. 2MB memory instead of 5MB or more. Ok reception. Camera is more clear than Nokia 7250 but is not as colorful as 7250.
Overall: I like this phone, great looks..and has all the functions I need. I recommand y'all to get it if y'all want to get a nice phone. T Mobile currently selling it for $300.
