I got it for 2 months and so far so good it functioned well. However it suddenly broke down yesterday. The phone could be switched on and everything appeared alright on the screen. But I could not make or receive any phone call, even after changing different sim cards. Could anyone please tell me what I can do with it without sending it to the repair centre?
This Is The First Time Iam Using A Sony Ericsson. The T68i Is Good Coz It Has Nearly Every Feature. All I Want To Know Is From Which Site Will I Get Tones Where I Can Compose It. Please Do Tell me Coz Iam Tired Of Searching.
hello sir !! this facility will be helpful if u have infrared or bluetooth facility in ur laptop. All u need to enable the IR or Bluetoth in mobile and just place near IR or bTooth port in ur Laptop... and get connection settings from telephone company :)
As amazing as this phone was (i owned one for 2 years (had 4 replacements due to technical stuff and 1 due to theft) loved it. But it was very tempermental, prone to break downs and also not the first COLOUR screen phone. Samsung managed that
bad phone ,very slow ,no reception at all, voice calling are bad as well dont buy it
This is by far the best phone I ever had. Now before all of you haters go and bash it about its screen colors, keep in mind that this was the FIRST color-screen phone to go on the market. It was awesome in that it was small, compact, feature packed, and sexy. This phone was so flawless that Sony Ericsson could not produce a phone to match up to it until the Z600. Great reception, great features, great looks, and great size. Did i mention that this phone was more durable than any other phone?
kool phone but it needs a better screen, more colors, a camera and polyphonic ringtones, otherwise it is neat and comfortable to carry
Yup, it would be perfect an upgrade of this phone in terms of colour depth and poliphonics (I don't fancy those skimpy camera's on today's phones). The rest is perfect, more than enough for me. I've always thought that an object should do one job, but that GREAT. This is T68i!
OK,this phone has okay features.its classic, but all that ends there. the phone is so flimsy.
I have borrowed other t68i on my classmate in philippines and inspect for something more. that is yesterday and i have proved that even the color is only 256, the photo is still good, that's why i'm really a fan of SE but why does other t68i's Blue LED lights up even bluetooth is not activated while mine wouldn't. could someone tell me why? and what is the maximum memory of it? I can't try it find out of it because of some personal files saved on it.
Also, could this phone can capture images faster than t230 or t610?
SE T68i is one of the classic & full featured mobile with such bluetooth,IRDA& colour screen.hopefully, the SONY ERICSSON company will take a further step in adding such new features suc as camera ,polyphonic ringtones & also upgrade the colour of the display.in the same time, keep & maintaining the same design of its body as its look more nice & modern.in the same time easy 2 hold it..overall,i'm the owner of this luvly mobile although i bought it from the shop in which is not a new one..but i'm happy with this mobile bcoz of its technology n features.until now,i'm still satisfied & happy with it..in future,i hope as like the other, there would be the same SE T68i in future with new upgrade.
SE t68i, just like others say, is one of the best fones ever build by sonyE. first is the features of the phone, but only lacks colour depth that could blur the image captured on it. but i want the unlimited voice record... i can save many songs that are usually recorded as the memory can and the best of all is that it could rival hogh end phones in slick connectivity options like IRDA Bluetooth and Rs232 cable, I really love this phone... hopefully sony could make T68i better in memory, tones and display...
I'v hade this phone since 3 yaers ago. The last I bought is very nice however I´m having a serios problem the signal changes every moment it goes up and goes dawn so I can´t make and recibe calls any time.
I´d appreciate if someone could tell me why is it for
I've had this phone for 2 years now. It's the best phone I've ever had, I can't find any reason to change it. The battery work as it's brand new. It's a survivor. I dropped it into a lake and it still works. The only con is a slightly poorer reception and voice quality. But that's because they had to lower the emissions somehow...
i do really love this phone...and i will never give up this stuff... such a nice phone pal...hehehe
this is a very good fone...the problem is the ringtones
can anyone tell me the website that can download ringtone for free
This is a classic; the old mercedes-benz of mobile phones, and i dont mean size wise. Its the technology that revolutionizes the industry and sets standards for others to catch up to. the t68i is first color phone that i've seen back then(2002), though, im not sure if it actually was first. at any rate, most of the new phones right now are catching up with features to this one. Its true that the camera or radio is an option and attachable, but no one really complained about it 2-3yrs ago. Not many people walked around with bluetooth headfones in '02 - and if you had seen someone with it, they were already used to being starred at or really needed alot of attention.
Back then this phone surpassed 90% of users needs, but now the sounds cant compete to current ones, the the memory is low, and the screen is small and not as crisp as phones have these days.
Many people had technical issues w/ this phone in 2003-2004, and so did i; the phone stopped responding to the network, spontaneously dropped calls, wouldn't connect...the phone went insane - so i stopped using it.
Few months ago i found it and turned it on, and it works flawlessly; all the problems i had before are gone! Originally i thought the phone needed a rest after a year and a half of 90hrs of talk time each month (I loooove the battery life on this phone) but it seems like it was a carrier problem that is now resolved (Tmo).
Even though i have a highly advanced phone, the t68i is back in my life again.
I'm a big fan of Sony Ericsson User Interface, on top of the features SE offers. Though there are nicers things out there, this is still one of my favorite phones
