Sony Ericsson T700 - user opinions and reviews

Best phone ever if you are looking for a really light weight phone just to call and check google maps in the street.
PROS: Thin and light weight (hard to find more light), perfect for your jean's pocket. The navigation is correct (similar to others Sony Ericsson). Really good battery time. Pretty and elegant (in my opinion). Really solid. (I use it for 2 years and it went through hell, liquids, beach sand, falls on the floor, etc.... Except many scratches, no damages. The glass screen and the keys are solid)
CONS: There's no wifi but Google maps is integrated and I've installed Google mail. So I can check those two essentials with the 3G+ connection.
Advice: As many phones like this, you should not go crazy with external applications. It can create bugs and make your phone unstable. It's not really a smartphone.
I've only installed Google mail and a QR Code reader (BeeTagg).

this cell phone is a waste. i purchased it for 7100rs and i m tooo upset. such a slow phone that even micromax cell is betther than this . my frds its request that dont even think of buying any sony ericsson cell phone if u really care abt ur money

am upset about phone material colour fading....silver colour over the navigation key is being loosing out.its being only 1 month of purchasing..dont complaint about my use coz its that part of navigation key

i have this phone for 2/12 years, and i don,t encounter any problems,, dispite of tinny sounds, smallish screen this phone performs well, i don,t know why ther,s a lot of complaints about T700, maybe because they don,t take care of thhis phone well,it is slim, which means the phone absorbs all of the impact forces, it is a very good phone, slim and eye pleasing, very nice desighn,,

Okay, it´s like this and that´s the way it is!
Sony Ericsson T700 is OK, no more no less. Great design, slim and neat for the eye. Nice interface - clean and simple. But... Bad reception, shaky camera, high SAR. Not the best phone from SonyErisson, but far the worst one too. Standard cell for a standard user.

friends i havebeen using this phone for last 18 months, initially i was disappointed with this because of low volume of speakers and slow operating system but now after use of 18 month, definately i can say it is good phone easy handling, sleek design, low weight, nice keypad, good video quality, many applicationa (maps,navigation,converter and much lot), good online support from company for upgradation. only cons are low speaker volume and slow OS.

hey, if you're looking for a WLAN phone this i9s not your phone but if you're looking for a satisfying and elegant looking phone you must have this... it has the features you're looking for if you're not looking for a wide service complicated mobile phone. damn those jerks who are destroying the works of sony ericsson. ..

U just download wavepad sound editor software from the net.. in that software we can increase the volume level of the ringtone.. ance u select the ring tone song and increase the volume by using that software. after that u save it in one location.. again open that saved file in that software.. again increase the volume level and save in another location.. do this continuously 4 or 5 times.. u will get the high sound as much u need... try this.. only u want to do is how many times u r converting the same tone by using the wave pad software...
