This phone has a very good design but on the official pictures and demo tour, a woman is using it. Do you think its this suitable for male users like me?
I am thinking to buy between this and SE C702.

Everybody who is looking for feature in an SE, see G700, G900, P1i, even the chubby K850i. I dont think sony will go motorola's way - they are just trying to realy segment the market. Walkman fones are getting a little whack though. I would consider changing my w890 for this - they are almost identical but at least i get a nicer design and LED light - those little lights are really handy - i miss the one on my retired w610i

You can't get coverage everywhere, and its almost exclusively for web browsing only - cellphones are inherently lousy web browsers - with such tiny screens, and a number pad only. Remember this is not a smartphone! There is no substitute for a laptop when it come to browsing and now we have netbooks like asus eeepc, MSI Wind and Acer Aspire one. So don't fault SE for no wifi coz personally, I don't think it will last on mobile phones - it just drives the price needlesly high. Wifi should be reserved for smartfones and the full touch fones, which have bigger display and better input methods - for a regular cellphone, NOT IMPORTANT. U can't just expect wifi for the sake of having it there - coz its a SLIM FONE - which means its not geared for full browsing! What DOES kinda suck on this fone is lack of auto focus - but being that slim, it was always gonna be unlikely.

actually all phones are used for calling and etc. theres no need for you to critise this model that model so and so ... to me , yes this phone doesn't do the good work cause its very unstable , as in i have already hands-on and tested this phone...
its not working as it has say to be.
its quite a disappointment , to me its still not up to the standard yet.
just keep doing the good work Sony Ericsson / SamSung and other models too.

SE needs to make a different design so people will be more attracted to the fone itself.....yes they have the 8mp & the touchscreens already but the design needs a lot of improvement.

Looks to me like its based on the w890i "platform". I was wondering when they would make another handset on that platform - SEs usually have a "sister" fone (think w610 - k550, or k770 - t650. But 3g with no video call camera? A little wierd,isn't that half the reason for 3g in the first place? Coz GPRS and Edge do a good enough job for web browsing. Also i reckon it will probably come initially overpriced like the t650 was. but otherwise a lovely looking handset!
