got this phone as an upgrade from my moto E398 and have since switched back to using my E398. better screen quality, better sound and a lot smaller. what was i thinking?
Got a Sony Ericsson V800 as an upgrade as I work with Vodafone and I loved this phone. It got all the things I need and more. It might be a bit bulky but considering all the latest features I am really impressed!!!!
im lovin'g it
it's very good
This phone looks like it came from a 1988 version of star trek i mean come on man don't you all think that the phones in cartoons look maore realistic than this so called V800
Does anyone know how to turn off the shutter sound?
Had this phone all of two days, it's got to go, nasty phone. Avoid
I agree with the finger prints, what a stupid colour to make the phone. Polished black. Vodafone branding on it makes it look so stupid. It's going back and I'm no biased towards sony ericsson I've had their phones for 3 years. This is the only one that I've had that I've hated.
Each to their own I suppose, but I know my Nokia 6600 had much more advanced / better features than the "cutting edge technology" of V800. If it was "that" good I would've kept it wouldn't I?
This phone is really good if you can handle a larger phone, and you can cope with the horrendous Vodafone branding. Only Nokia and Samsung fans will complain about this handset, because they are biased towards inferior technology. There's a reason that Sony Ericsson starts with 'Sony'.
Sending my V800 back as I really don't like it. Pic quality suprisingly poor, features are minimal but sound is pretty good though. Preferred my old Nokia 6600 which had some really clever features like zoom / rotate on saved pics, nice interface and some great applications. Awaiting arrival of the Sharp 902. Oh and I hate the polished black plastic finish of the V800, 1001 fingerprints, grrrrr!
eh grant if u hafta charge it twice a day means you hog ur phone too much
i tink dis styl is so kewl... da dezine rox and it has many abilitiz. smsng is eazi and its very unike! heheh
A rather large phone that may be packed with cool stuff but takes a step backwards on the phone front. Who wants to own a brick these days? You need a good sized pocket for this phone. If you want neat and small this is the wrong phone. If you want loads of stuff this video calling, a service that is very rare right now, then it's ok. Key are too small, so you'll be using your nails on this one.
Good technology, bad platform.
J'adore Sony Ericsson
I Got A SonyEricsson V800 and i love it, it is the best phone ever. The sound in the phone is of top quality and the camera has all the functions that you need to get good pictures. I really like it
I have just purchased 2 of these phones,& I am really dissapointed.picture qual is poor & batt life is terrible.I have to charge it at least 2x a day,get a sharp,or 2 paper cups & a length of string.
