I would say if you are looking for a small, light and simple phone, w302 would be your best choice! But if you are looking for customization of the phone like setting of themes, you can't do that with this phone. Sound quality from the speakers aren't impressive like the other walkmen phones. I would say that I regret buying this phone!

tony D, 26 Jan 2009this phone is terrible, mine turns itself off wont send texts and reception is really bad im g... morethis phone is really bad. i got very frustrated why bought it. camera is not good and you cant even zoom the pictures, lack of smiley icon, sounds is very low/poor, music is not good on speaker better listen using the headset for superb/quality music. the battery life is also not good, the setting of text size cannot be save. most of all, poor reception even if the signal bar is full. some of the text messages i recieved very late if none at all. so before anything gets worst, i'l dump this phone. my old nokia 3120c is far better than this w302- sounds/music, battery life, memory, quality pic and other functions,and good reception. the saying is true: looks can be deceiving.

Am confused in selecting either nokia 3120 or S/E W02...
The looks of W02 is really attracting but the comments do not pursue to go for this model.....ANY HELP!!!!!!

tno2007, 12 Feb 2009It does not have a camera flash!The reason it doesn't have a flash is because it is a walkman player. If you want a flash you'll need a Cybershot phone which provides a fantastic flash plus with a memory card you card stick your music on it to (the sound quality isn't as good though).

Hi there.I'm thinking about buying a W302 and I was wondering if someone could answer a few questions I have.Firstly:does this phone have personal caller ID? (picture and/or tone) Secondly:Can diifferent text alerts be set?(different tone for each messenger)and thirdly: what type of jackplug is used for the headset? Many thanks for any help given....David

To connect this mobile to PC, search google for "w302 usb drivers". Use the download from the Sony Ericsson page. Now to use the phone as a modem, search "S302__GSG_Modem_EN_1215_7772_1.pdf" on google and download this PDF document. The PDF contains all you need to know to connect as a modem.
