Anyways Megabass will always have low-volume in all models but instead there is improvement in the thump/base quality.
One has to select equaliser option of 'Normal' [All bands maximum] to have high volume.

However, i'm having a problem transfer... morehi, i have taken this phone today. it has got really least mega bass. walkman series but with this least mega bass, not satisfied. and when u connect to the system options will be displayed in ur phone and select mass storage in that and then it will automatically open..............

This phone has a great design and is priced reasonably. However, i'm having a problem transferring contacts from my PC to it as it says 'no phone connected'. Don't know if it's the set or a software problem. Disappointed as I really like the silver/white model. Hope to solve it soon.

megabass(tm) is a preset that only sony corp can use. it's bass (low frequency sound) is enhanced when it's activated. try to activate it when your using a headset, it sounds too damn good!
