yes the same one with my phone, bottom speaker is a lot louder. actually that is ok, most audio , (bottom)right speaker is a lot louder on to the (top)left,

to check the latest firmware for a sony ericsson phone., you have to download and install the sony ericsson update service (SEUS). then, after installation, run the program. there will be instructions on how to connect ur phone. it's a user friendly software.. i already tried to check for the latest firmware but it says my phone's firmware is still the latest, no updates yet.

daniel, 06 Feb 2009hye guys..i bought w595 couple of days ago and noticed dat the speaker at the bottom of the ph... morehey! we have the same observation. i posted this a few days ago but no one answered me. that means the bottom speaker is really louder than the top speaker. thus, it's normal so we have nothing to worry about.
