My beloved SE W900i was stolen...:<
So I just bought a new W910i...and even before I'm familiar with all its features, this new model W595 comes along. With better specs (3.2 MP cam, 2 GB M2) but should I really go for this one?
You must open the case to switch M2, which is not efficient, and that means I go down in number (W900i-->W910i-->W595) lol. IMHO, the likeliness that it has no shutter button is a turn off, and the "shared double-earphones" is quite daunting. If it has no standard SE Walkman earphones, it is a major turn off. And the price is another issue, since we haven't got any fixed price here, and the prices I see on the net are just too varied to be based upon.

unicycler, 20 Oct 2008Im i just unlucky enough that every handset of this model seems to have the 1/4/7 keys lit up ... moremy phone also has the same issue, it looks weird looking at the keypad with one side brighter than the other.

Well the hole beside the speaker is the microphone, and the speaker audio quality is really loud but average, but the audio quality with a headset is excellent and sounds clearer than my previous W660i!

The assembly is like? is solid or there are crunch? One person told me that the slide is not good, makes noises

@anonymus: camera and sound are not better or worse than on the W760
@SE: don't know where the little hole on the back is good for. It dosn't play any sound. Al sounds (also ringtones) are played throu the stereo speakers.

The looks great for me but I don't know about the speakers. Can anyone tell me if W595i is louder than w580i? I am really keen to know this since I am planning to change the new phone.

close to the camera is a speaker. I think that for music work the two stereo speakers while ringtones that small that is behind. If it were not me as a good thing. How do I feel ringtones? Quality and volume?

hoping the black color will soon release in singapore. So far, after looking at the three colors which we hv in Singapore, hmm... grey is too common, white and red, dun really blend... so far blue still looks the best, like i mention, this is a new color which SE hv launch... good try and something different from the usual... :)

its loud enough for you to hear, even if you set the ringing tone around level 5, u can hear it when it rings at crowded place... as compared to T700. Even though T700 is sleek but the quality is not good, so far different from T650, even in terms of the pricing, so much difference btw T700 and T650i. NO regret to choose w595... one speaker on top and botton, so even its in your pocket, u will not miss it... GO FOR IT!

u feel great holding the phone in your hand.. we have 3 colors here, white, grey and blue... so far blue still looks the best, a new color from SE. better version of w580i, keypad more solid, two speaker (top & bottom) 3.2 mega and 3G. Price is reasonable, so go for it...
