I have this phone in black colour(my operator sold this colour to me) And it OWNZ!! It's really nice and the black colour with red walkman logo and the keys that has red colour around them.. Black with red is the best colour for the W595!!! YAY!!! BUY IT NOW!! And it has many games and programs built-in when you buy it!(unless ur operator deletes the apps)
It will not be like other phones u get tierd of after some months of use...! You will enjoy it in at least 1 year or maybe 1 and a half year...

Hi, sony ericsson is best since i am using it since 3years, just want to know why only release it in blue color? in my country "OMAN" W595 only available in blue no black i asked distriburor they says its here only blue!!!!!! Its true ???

booboo, if you go to the sony site you can have the wap & mms settings sent to the phone. This worked for me on O2 for wap, but mms doesn't work and O2 said it is because they don't support this model at the moment. I'd be interested to hear if anyone else has success with this

hi guy's i have got a w595 i love the phone but having trouble getting the wap setting 4 o2 anyone else having this trouble any suggesting on fix would be great

The mmc slot is at back rite ?
If the battery expand, will the mmc still can be detected (if the battery expand) coz I'm using a Nokia 5610 and the mmc slot is above the battery....
My 5610 battery already expend and the mmc cant be detected....
So will there be any problem if the battery expand ???
PLS HELP !!!!
And hopefully the keypad wont crack....

hey, wondering whether to get this w595 as it looks reli cool and has good features or the slightly older w890i... please help. I dont really know if there is a lot of difference in features?? if there are please help out and try to point me in the direction of the better phone please, thank you :)

W595 is better than w760 and much better than w580, so go for it

Yaa! Go W760! go.. go..im w760 user! and i love it damn so much! its nice phone... not to thick or to slim... gorgeous n im very satisfied using it.. no prob until now... no bug... perfect for myself...u guys should using w760 then w595...u aren't dissapointed!

After playing with a beta version of this handset for a while I'll put up some pros and cons.
Pros:
Surprisingly great sound quality from the stereo speakers, million times better than the W910
Smooth slide
3mp fixed cam/QVGA 30 fps video (top of the line as far as SE goes), no video recording light
Video call support thru main camera
New SE interface with Walkman 3
Good quality screen
Rock Bubblehead (or to be more exact, an accelerometer!)
Cons:
Keypad and softkeys are uncomfortable to use and press
Cheap plastic body - slippery, and just feels and looks really cheap
No flash/AF
No GPS
Camera lens no longer behind the slider (Some people prefer it this way but I like it behind the slide as it's protected)
Battery life seems a bit bad
