1. Do we need to open the slide to... moreYes i am using w595 from past 4 months. . There is a option to choose whether to recieve the call by sliding up or to end the call by sliding down. . You can take a picture and record a video without sliding up. . You can use permanent shortcut i.e the up key on the navigation keypad and the walkman key to capture

hi i just bought this phone and i'm kinda having some problems henever i try ti install an application especially "NIMBUZZ, OPERA MINI, and UZZAP for Philippines"..
can somebody give me reply and share his/her thoughts,,,iis it really not possible to download those applications?

... moreI bought this phone this yr and 6 months after purchase it has started giving me problems. The 2 & 3 keys wont work. It hangs almost every other week and worse of all.. it hangs during a phone call. It lags, badly, when ur trying to sms while listening to music. Some of the photos taken wont register and will be deleted. like wtf? and SE sign on top of the phone is already coming off and so is the silver lining along the phone.
so although its a walkman phone. its a waste of ur money. Go for other models like nokia or samsung. wayy better quality and more user-friendly.

Dont go for this phone
This phone is walkman and its so expensive,
But the features and quality its poor
the sounds of my k750 more better than this with the same hf hpm70 + megabass
believe or not up to u
and also cant setting/adjust equalizer if you play via loudspeaker
let down for walkman

xD, 19 Dec 2009@kiran & @cris,,,it depands on handling...i think u guyz should learn how 2 use a cell...coz i... moreU think 'm playing football with my phone!!.. i started gettin these problems after 6 months only.. and one more thing, whenever i went to the service center i saw atleast one guy with this phone for servicing.. wen i got it back, one guy gave his phone for servicing with the same prob i faced.. u maybe an exception not to face these problems.. but might soon face it..

I too faced the problem with the ... moreI too had that problem.. in my case the function keys stopped working properly, the sensors and receiver speaker too stopped functioning.. i gave it for servicing on 20th october and got it back only day before yesterday.. 'm from chennai, india.. gave it for servicing at the service center in spencer plaza.. those ppl kept saying it ll get it repaired by the weekend.. i had to keep calling them more than thrice every week..
also had a software problem wen my phone totally crashed.. had to give it to the service center fot gettin it back to normal.. i couldn update the firmware myself because the charger and battery were not accepted by the phone..
my suggestion is ppl pls get some bar phone and definitely not sony.. they have the best sound and camera quality, but reliability is totally lacking in them..

this phone is really a horrible experienc to buy.within one month of purchase the LCD went faulty and on top of that the customer care of sony erricsson is terrible.after thre months the mobile,s speakers went faulty and gav enightmares to me.
pl ont buy it...........

I too faced the problem with the flex cable (FPC) just after 2months of purchase Sonyericsson people took 1full month to service my handset . . hi...guy's i think se is not manufacturing any phones lately it’s just marketing the phones manufactured by other one…I own w595 and it is really made up of cheap materials.the metal lining that you see on the border of the screen is just chrome coated plastic..mine is wearing out…it’s just 4 months old
