Hi there!
I'm suposed to get the phone tomorow,but reading some of your opinions it makes me thing twice!Is there really such a big problem with the batery life....if I get the phone for how long must I charge it???I heard things like first time for 8 hours and second time 6....i really do not know...coul you help me please!!!

by the way, i have seen several of yours have probelms with the joysticks or other problems, hope they are the real sony ericsson products. its possible that some dealers sell the fake ones.

yeah, I thought it's my phone but after chatting with a few friend's got the same phone and they are all experiencing the same problem :o( BAD PHONE!!!

Hei! Is it normal that the joystick of my w800 works great when i go right lef down, but when i go up it obtructed, its difficult to go up, when i want to go up, i press it. And some files (voice records) just dessapeared, and some images cant be opened, should i change it?. I have this disc2phone problem too, but i heard that if u download the disc2phone software from the w600 it will work great because it is a new version. Thanks!!

love this phone. Camera is great, it's nice to always have a camera handy too! Mp3 player is best I've had period. Gotta get the 2gb card tho. makes all the difference. Top phone on the market right now, no question. Best phone I've ever had, and I've had many. 2 phones a year since the original moto startac!
buy this phone, you won't be dissapointed.

ok, updating your firmware could solve the problem, however some of them get more problems after doing this. I also have the same problem and its really frustrating. Can't transfer the song using drag and drop nor disc2phone software. I tried for like 10 times and it never works. Transferred like 50 songs and it appears that there are only 2 songs that is succesfully transfered to ur phone. After reading some reviews from other users that are experiencing the same problem, i bought card reader and it solves all the problems i had. Hope that helps, cheers..

To all those who have problems transferring songs using Disc2Phone: the only trhing u ppl can do is update the firmware version.takes only 5 minz and dere willo be no prblems for ever!!i had sme probz bt nw dere gone :D

songs not showing up in phone after transfering from computer, you say? mine did the same thing. if you are using se disc to phone software, you need to close the program on your computer before disconnecting your phone. otherwise the transfer will be partially or totally cancelled. glitch with software maybe? i don't know really. worked for me though.

i jus got this cell ( cupla months back) but being no cell freak- i still havent figured it out...i was wondering if theres any way at all i cud display my cell screen on the tv....as in connect it and not to the stereo usin the MMC-60 cable ...- to see the picx and videos on the big screen

Your phone is stuffed!!! Go get it replaced/fixed and then you'll be happy. Looks like you have a Software issue.

It's not better and it's not worse. Main differences are OS. One is symbian smart phone (n70) and the other isn't (w800) You decide what you want.

Well, if you have the 512mb card which it comes with, and you divide 512 by 4mb (4mb being the average size of an MP3), you get about 128 songs! Amazing methodical calculus long division that one was.

Hey, just got the W800 and so far love it! But I cannot find out how many MP3's it holds and don't have the time to sift through all the pages...sorry to no doubt repeat a common question!

Hi! i have just bought the sony ericsson w800i, but i have a problem, i tok like 25 pics and yesterday like 15 pics stop working, i cant open it in my w800 nor in my computer. And when i transfer music from mi computer to my w800, everything looks ok, but when i disconect my cell, there are just like 4 songs from the 20 that i tried to tranfer to it. Whats happeniiiing!!

n the messaing fatures included they said that it has instant messaging.Where is it?I hve the phone for 2 mounths,and I couldn't find it out.

yes,mp3 songs can be used as ringtones and messege tones as well.
