i heard a lot about SE W800 from any type of advertising. they just how good the phone are and i agreed about it. still i hav a question about this phone. what platform did W800 run on? like N90, its run on symbian. and wat W800 run on?

Seen to keep losing mp3 files from the stick when I look for them on phone, have upgraded firmware - still happening...
Any suggestions???

it's very beautiful very interesting but i'm not glad with my choice i'm sorry... i have it only 2 days and i m very dissapointment with it it's very slow..i dont know what its going wrong..

I was looking for a special phone which could fulfill all my needs, MP3 playback, Data storage & Camera+Video before i ended up on W800i. Am planning to buy this phone but was wondering if it works in Africa, more specifically in east African countries with GSM of 1800/1900. Has anyone used it in this part of the world? And can i play music using the Bluetooth Headset?

this is the best phone I have ever used. Everything is excellent in this phone. Sound qualisty is awsome. The reception of the radio stations is awsome . whatever the price of this phone dont miss it. best regards to everyone

Anyone have body glove scuba cellsuit for w800i? Seems like the perfect case, cool scuba brand, detachable belt clip, covers screen, etc., but it's only available in UK, why not in USA? Anyone have any USA sites that sell it for cheap?

Hi guys, ok simply put i have held this phone in store spent days researching many other phones and simply put... Its AWESOME! (this coming from a strict NOKIA user for 6 years (new phone each year)im buying it this week) Video is a little low and in 3gp Format but that CAN be changed with the right software other than that i recommend this phone to all who are looking for a feature packed phone and a s#!t load of bragging rights ;) now to awnser a few questions... 1. Quicktime will play the 3gp files with the right updates(i did so with my brother's "3G LG U8138 video files) 2. for more FREE! games, tones, themes, ect than you can poke a stick at-- www.myw800.com no catches=D there are also a few for the SE 750i(actually most SonyE phones) check the site for more SE phones,trial and error for other phones models eg.(most java games for the k500 work on my Nokia 3200) 3. Finally for those in Australia like me Vodafone is selling the W800i for $799 as are Virgin but im not sure if Virgin has it sim locked but Vodafone dont! So dont be fooled by telstra offering it for Quote "Cheapest Price in OZ" at $1099

Damn ... that's hot . I've just bought W800 few a days ...!! The pictures are excellent . I don't like movies made with this phone ... and when i zoom , the picture is not so good ... And when I turn the phone on STAND-BY ..... he starts to charge :-?? ... I don't know why

Great sound,good quality pictures,large memory,easy to use,excellent battery life when using it as a walkman! has anyone got any faults or something they dont like about this phone cause i cant find any!
I know some ppl dont like the colour but you can get different colours from ebay and to be honest the colour is not that bad anyway!

as for psp video converter code that u have posted the other day...well the funny thing is that the code works for my 3gp video converter but not psp video convertor.
as for the problem u r facing. me think it's nothing to do with selecting preferred data service to gprs and gsm. it's your network provider. my phone is also on gprs and gsm mode and so far have not encounter such problem.

Well, I'm off to purchase the SE w800, but i just saw someone saying video is in 3gp, can this be changed on a computer to some other format? how are video images coming along???? I'd really appreciate if someone could help me make up my decission. thanks for all!
