This phone has everything you could wish for,the best phone by far!! its easy to download tracks/pictures etc from your computer and it charges your phone up while you've got it connected to your computer! the sound quality is suberb and all in all i'd give it 10/10!

Hi there folks,i used to be confuse about this two models in particular. w800 and k750.but after having both now i know the main basic fundamental differences.camera quality is the same,the only difference i found is the sound quality,the w800 sound is superb,why i say so its because even with low volume u can feel the base not like ipod, even the ipod doesn't give u that much of satisfaction.and plus the menu bar for songs divided to artist and by track.ok thats all for noe..anywthing else do mail me.
bye chau....oh ya guys look out for that nnaughty w900, thats another cool stock in tthe line.

i would like to say thank you so much to vitruvian and mario. you've been such a great help. i was able to download a video successfully into my cellphone. W800i is really great. it never stops to amaze me every single minute. i am so happy with it. i know i still have so much to discover... thank you so much, guys! keep up the good work.

Hi all,
I am planning to buy this mobile. But, they are offering only 512MB with the phone. Is any shop there from which I can get this phone with 1GB or 2GB of memory?. I know, I can buy memory card separately, but then the 512MB card which is coming with the phone will be of no use to me. If anyone has any idea, let me know.

yes u can play the video in full screen mode... and the convertor which we are talking about are two in fact:
1- quick time pro to convert mp3's to mp4's which reduces the size 4 times but the quality remains the same.... u can download it from the internet...
2- Xilisoft PSP video convertor to convert
videos using these settings:
video size:176x144
bit rate: 104
frame rate: 25
audio channels: mono

One more question - is the screen on the W800i comparable with the D600? I'm really impressed by the screen on my D600, I just get annoyed because most of the time it's switched off! Is it the same technology on both screens or is the D600 different and therefore better in some way?

I had the d600 2weeks ago. It took me all of 15 minutes to realise that I didn't like it. I decided to go back to phones 4 u and get the w800i. This has turned out to be a decision I will not regret. The w8ooi is amazing. I was a former d500 user and fully anticipated the d600 to be mind blowing but I have to say samsung got lazy with this one.
The d600 is not a patch on w800i. No competition in the camera department and many other features including the memory. You could have your full album collection on your phone. Feel free to ask any other Q.

does n e 1 no how to get a mp3 converter? I had problems instaling the harware for my w800 when instaling 4 the 1st. disc2fone loaded but it wont transfer my songs on the p.c as it says they are not suitable. think it was a usb modem instalation transfer so guess i need a mp3 converter and do it manually, can n e help? would be much apreciated
