i have just been to the myw800.com website and downloaded a ringtone via wap. however the ringtone in midi format will not play. can anybody help!

Ermm the phone really looks nice i read about it..and im thinking of buying it too!,,i have nokia 6630 at the same time i want to buy nokia 6681 soo i need to know which one is better i know the differnt betweem the camrea i need to know about the screen and other stuff!!

Hey i used bearshare to download finding nemo. ~385 mb. Once you dled a
.avi movie.. use ImTOO mpeg converter to convert it to 3gp format. Once
you convert it.. just upload it with the usb cable presto! Encode the
movie at 176*144 ... POW a whole movie on your phone with amazing quality. It impresses EVERYONE

I just got the W800 and i can tell you that it's a very good mobile phone. Nice clear screen, good polyphonic sound, nice design and easy to use. But i've got a problem, when i receive a movie clip, i can't play it. I can only send. Can anyone tell me how to play a movie clip on it, thanks.

I just got my W800.. I LOVE IT! Mp3 ringtones sound so good! I love recording my teachers with it. I have 50+ games from online so im loaded.. I JUST UPLOADED the whole movie of FINDING NEMO on my phone.. The quality is sick.. It blows everyone out the water. This phone is amazing.. I hope it last! The more and more I have it the more and more i can't live with out it! Your music/radio at your finger tips is so usefull.. email for any questions yellowsnow@cox.net

hi all yes it will work in the us as for the 850mhz load of rubbish this phone is equipped with software available to work at any frequency available email me at jonathanianbradley@o2.co.uk i work 4 o2 may be able to answer regarding queries or software probs

Regarding your comment, it is not true. I managed to uploaded many games and mp3s to my handphone. It's just that you need to search around for them online.

i got sony ericsson w800i phone, it had the software problems, black screen came out from now and then... once it got black screen it lost the ringtone... i missed lots of calls just because this problems... once it start ringing, it changes the ringtone itself, very wired....

This question might have already been answered lately, but having to read through 73 pages of posts would be a little much to find the answer. So does this phone get good reception in the US? I don't really live near any large metropolis, and I read somethin about it not getting good reception since it doesn't operate on 850mhz. I'm new to this so I don't know what to think. Thanks.

try www.myw800.com you might find some themes and wallpapers, but i dun think you can find the game, maybe u will find some of them in the forum.

i'm afraid but there are very very few free games/application for this model coz it's a sony ericsson (bcoz developers are not paying too much attention to SE unlike Nokia bcoz of it's market share!) no it can't play avi files only 3gp and mpeg4 files. no chance 4u to install smart movie coz it only works on symbian OS phones! those are the limitations that i really can't live without that's what is stopping me to buy this phone! aside that great phone! as for the mp4 converter u may try this: http://www.mymusictools.com/download/mp4-converter/

Sincerely,I used to be Nokia&Samsung fan but sinceI started seeing the adverts for W800,I started falling in love with SE.Apart from the enhanced memory,can anybody tell me if the camera and video functionality outshines that of Samsung D500 & Nokia 3230 which I currently use.Does W800 come with Bluethoot or simply,what assessories does its pack contain especially in the Nigerian market.Responses are being earnestly awaited.

can this phone store message in memory card? want to find phone that can do so (like nokia and siemens). but as far as i know motorola, samsung, SE cant do that. any suggestiON?

W800 is not nice....shape like an ordinary SE phone and it is not dynamic..like UI is not symbian......boring how long will u listen muzic??....so many things to do..go 4 some dynamic series 60 phone and buy an apple ipod ....
