I want to know if the volume of the phone, making a call is it loud. because mine with all the volume is clear but not to loud? or is better when using a bluetooth or the headset?

Does anyone have problems when playing the video that you have transfer in your phone?
Because i have, it lags so much and some videos doesnt even have sounds.

Ok, the macro mode is where you can taking pictures at a very close range (say 30cm). If you use normal mode while taking pictures from a close range they will go blur. But if you would use macro mode the pictures would still be quite a good quality

I found out that the problem with our phone is. We have a different language pack. The people who say that in silent mode the camera shutter is off, for example live in England and have language pack Europe_2. I live in Holland and have Language pack Europe_3. This language pack doesn't have the possibility to turn off the camera shutter sound. unfortunately, I don't know how to switch my language pack to Europe_2.

I live in Australia and bought this phone through eBay from HongKong. It also makes the shutter sound when the phone on silent mode. Got no idea how to turn the damn thing off.

I just got my w800 today, i upgraded from a z500a which was an amazing low cost basic phone that did an A+ job at being a basic phone but thats all it was, it had no features, unlike the w800.
The mem stick ability is nice, i can swap cards between my w800 and my psp.
The sound quality is great through the better than stock, stock ear buds.
They are just like the ones i spent $50.00 on to use with my old i-pod.
Which the w800 also exceeds. the i-pod was nice because it was more practical than running around with a book of 200 cd's and my cd player but having to have my keys, wallet, 40gb ipod, cell phone and whatever else i had in my pocket was bulky and too much to keep up with, the combined ability of an mp3 player, digital camera and cell phone kills the ipod because of it's practicality.
The 2.0 mega pixel digital camera that is inside the w800 also gives any small private use (aka non professional) digi cam a run for it's money. i'd much rather carry around one cell phone with a 2.0 mega pixel cam, mp3 player than my cd player with book of cd's, my very large kodak 5.0 mega pixel cam, i-pod, wallet, keys, glasses.
They w800 excells in everything including battery life.
The only problems i've had were the earbud connector not staying firm in the phones port and getting low reception around my home area, the same thing happend with my old z500a as far as reception for the first week or so, i expect it to stop soon like it did with my z500a, sony has made excellent phones in the past and i'm proud to own not only the best sony but the best phone on the market.

You can download the Disc2Phone software from sonyericsson website. My disc also doesn't work but downloaded and installed it, working well.

Hello rafael, the SonyEricsson W800 can record until the memory stick is full which mean more than 1 hour.

hey people, i need esperate help!!!! in the manual it says if i have to transfer music from the pc then i have to use the Disc2Phone software. i inserted the cd but everytime i click on "Disc2Phone" it does not take an action. please give me suggestions or what i can do to activate this software.

Hey, i just got this phone yesterday and everything work good but only thing the camera, everything i try to use the camera, it said memory stick not avaible. So i did return to store.

And I don't use the camera to spy on some sexy pretty girl... I use it to make pictures of art in a museum ;) lol

so you are using the camera to spy on some sexy pretty girl huh?
well, to turn-off the shutter is easy. push the thumbstick upward. a quick function menu will appear. select silent mode and voila! nobody will hear your shutter sound again.

Hey!! does any body knows if there's another distribuitor who actually design a diferent color face for this phone!! so I can buy it and installed?? I like this phone with all of it functions, performance, music etc., but the problem Is that I don't like the color.
