i hav had this fne 4 three months & when i have a phonecall i cant hear what the other person is saying very well, also, when i use the camera it says open lens cover when it is open & wont let me take any pics... even tho these things sound bad, i love this phone and since having a sony ericcson i will never go back to another company xxxx

i bought a fake one without bluetooth, infrared ,and radio. i would like to know if i buy the genuine engine, i 'll have all those features and more that the original w800 has?.

Got this phone for about a year, don't have much complaints but a few points to consider:
I dropped it three times by accident on hard ground and it chipped a little bit of the white plastic.
Taking photos in high quality, you gotta wait a slight while till it captures the image so hold your hands still and steady.
I keep putting my phone down on desks with the back down and the mirror at the back got scratched and you can't really use it anymore.
Back removable panel for the battery is a little bit wobbly and loose over time.
Screen slightly scratched but that happens on most phones.
That's it, overall a good phone with lots of features, it's been available for a while but it's still rivaling a few other new phones out there. Sony Ericsson has a lovely user interface, very easy to use, will last a long while yet. Enjoy your phone! :)

Is no battery formatting for W800 necessary?

Removing the battery of W800 is not very hard. Just remove battery cover and simply press the battery towards the upper side of the phone [the phone's ON/OFF button end]. Then it automatically released from the phone.

I have a simple question, i put the battery in, but it seems to me that i can't find a way to take it out. HELP!!!!

When the Phone's switch on, the screen will just light up and goes blank. Nothing to display.Anyone can solve this promble?

Dear notintonokia, thanks for ur answer even it was a bad one. It is very easy to be rude in ur words but only the kind clean hearts show respect to God who created the lands and heavens.
anyhow, i see this website was not created for such speech. so lets talk about the camera of this phone which really attracts my attention. is it like the cypershot of K550? and i asked if the zoom 4X is enough for such capabilities of this phone.

hey i also experience that problem on the screen, it works but the screen light is of...what i do is that i turn off the phone...and its okay now

was wonderin if any1 could assist me, the light for the main screen of the fone does not come on anymore....everything else seems to be working alrite, its just that the screen remains dark and the light does not come on. Please if anyone could help me....it would be really appreciated.

ive had this phone now for a year, ive had no problems with it at all. its still amazing and i get lots of compliments on its looks

If you care about music then Nokia N73 music edition is better. But its music playing menu/software/options is not so much customizable like W800i. The headset sound quality is very good, also in the handsfree mode.

thanks people for ur comments on this phone which seems to be so nice to the degree i hink really to have one. but i would like to ask is 4X zoom enough?

If im interested only in the earphone music,is W800 the best choice for me ? or should i go with N73 music edition? or what other do u suggest? i repeat i don't care about the cam or any otherthing in the mob.I just want a mob with a sound u can compare to iPod
