am i have a 2 gig card in my w800 and sometimes this fone will freeze and then the mem card is formatted or sometimes the fone just restarts by it self and i have the latest firm ware on the fone can someone please tell me whats the problem?????????????

which one has better sound? w550 or w800. i think this one's just not loud enough. i love my j210i it's really loud as an alarm clock

No any single problem with the joystick. It works perfectly after 10 months of use :)

hey guys....
has anyone here occur a problem they cannot MOVE thier files(picture and video) in a memory card to other folder??but the files that is in phone memory can be move.

Here is a list of differences:
W800: TRI-BAND, internal memeory 34MB, memeory stick upgrade to 2GB, dimensions = 100 x 46 x 20.5 mm
W810: QUAD-BAND, internal memeory 20MB, memory stick upgrade to 4GB, dimensions = 100 x 46 x 19.5 mm, have mega-bass function
All others; camera, weight, display, etc. are the same.
So basically, you can say that the W810 is a better phone.

i am sorry about my comment yasterday about its organizer becaused this first week i used it i ignore some fetuer about organizer . realy sony Ericsson W800i is very good mobile i can use it as mp3 player and mp4 for see video . the sound very clarity and nice also the viedo . its infrared and bluetooth very good in send and recive .also the organizer is very good . realy sony ericsson w800i is my mobile

I have now sonyericson W800.it is very good telephone in music play and the sound very clear and nice . also easy to use . its infrared very good and fast in send and recieve also bluetooth . but i face problem in organizer when i write note i cant make it with alarm to remember me why . but every time i must open note in evry time to see memo . whte i can do when i write memo to do thing after week or month .

no memory included in the K800i Pack...i had to buy mine as well, maybe your provider gives it, but i doubt it

can anyone recommend a program to convert wma files to 3GP? At the moment I am using Nokia Multimedia Converter 2.0 but there are a few music video files I have that it says are not supported. Of the twenty ish I had, only three were supported. I think it is WMA files that are the problem.
Any advice offered would be appreciated, bearing in mind that I'm usually usuless with this sort of thing.

this phone is good. i had it for almost a year. anyways the orange tip on my joystick fell off and also it sometimes freezes on me and i would have to turn it off.

I've had my W800i for almost a year [i bought it 10 Jan this year] & this is my first time using Sony Ericsson. This thing is absolutely awesome,never hanged [well, one or twice but never as frequent as the one I used to hav, N3230], still very responsive, the sound is amazing, pictures are great [even for posting in my blog], sending MMS is quick, this phone is actually a magic :) but only 1 thing bugs me, when we try 2 find names in contacts, we can't simply find the name with two first alphabets, eg: When I try 2 find Mary, all I can do is press MNO keypad instead of pressing M and A, so it took longer to get there. Another thing, this seri doesn't have facility 2 find out duration of our calls, just the time when calls were made. Above all, this thing is nothing but EXCELLENCE.. Cheers!!

What does the k800 pack include?
please answer...because I've ordered the phone and I'm getting it in 2 weeks and I want to be sure if I have to buy the memory card myself or not.

by the way, the w800 is a very nice phone, and I think it should have better vote results. It is just A BIT worse than K800.

This phone simply rocks... I've had it for 6 months now with little troubles. I have a 4GB Memory Stick and it is the best!! I have well over 700 songs, 75 videos (5 full length movies) and still have enough memory to take a lot of pics. For those who don't know, you have to resize the video to 176x144 pixels for it to be viewable on the phone. The drawback is when there is a lot of action it will freeze for a while and then catch up. You may want to record it at an even lower resolution (it is possible). Overall, very happy with it and I plan to get the k790 which is similar but has a 3.2 megapixel camera!

hey hicham maybe it's da problem of ur battery but i'm not sure. sony ericsson is myfone too, i have a lot of fone sony ericsson w800i,nokia 5300,sony ericsson,sony ericsson w810i and da nokia 6260. THNX!!!!!
