I am assuming the music is on the memory STICK DUO PRO and that the music file is either MP3, ACC, WAV (note: not all wav can play)
Try this: (1) Turn off phone, (2) remove your memory stick, (3) Turn on without memory and choose start phone (make sure it is highlighted yellow), (4) Play any ringtone and confirm there is sound, (5) Turn off phone, (6) Insert memory, (7) Turn on and choose start phone (make sure it is highlighted yellow) give a minute before pressing any key (8) try playing the music
Let me know the result and also if problem persists let me know how u transfer music to your phone

1.press menu (top right button)
2.press down stick (or 5) and you are now in messaging
3.Toggle down once to highlight "inbox"
4.press down stick (or 5) to go inside (the top/newest message will be highlighted)
5.press menu (top right)
6. Toggle down TWICE and press top left button to prepare forward
7.press top right and then top left, at this point "contacts look up" will be hilighted
8. toogle up to go from "look up" to "enter phone number"
9. Press top left button to "select"
10.enter phone number u wish
11. press top left for "ok" now you are at confirmation window
12. press top left and thats it. It is sending now. Give it about 30 sec.
13. If you wanna send more don't do anything else: YOU WILL STILL BE INBOX
14.Just toggle down once after each message u wanna send and repeat steps 5-12

I have a sony ericsson w800i and my screen has gone/damaged and I need to know how to forward my sms messages to another number, any ideas on how to do it, I can't remember the steps without seeing the screen.

To answer some of the common questions: (1)My carrier for this phone is T-Mobile. (2)I bought this phone at buy.com (compare prices with newegg.com,circuitcity,com etc.)
(3)Cingular is offering it for about $100 with plan (free after rebate). (4)Videos must be in .mp4 or .3gp (google softwares keywords: convert to mp4, 3gp,media converter,video converter etc)

to get music vids on ur phone u need to go on your wap jukebox n download then that way i did this and there good quality !

I've had the w800 for about 6 months and up until recently it's been a mess. I love the size, the camera, and the features. What has made me regret this mobile is the firmware. My mobile kept freezing when switching apps. and when I would recharge it, it wouldn't ring unless I turned the mobile off then on. If this is happening to you, download the newest firmware from SonyEricsson website. You'll need a comm. cable. Ever since I did this I love my mobile again.

Got the phone last year. Nice orange color---could use a larger screen & faster start up. Camera takes good pictures but is slow.

Just got this phone recently.And i just have one word for it,Extraordinary! Im a hardcore nokia lover eventhough i made decision to go for w800 & my decision was not wrong.Camera is superb compared to n91 & the music player is brilliant and almost same like n91 and also theres no match from any brand for Mega Bass.It'll just blow u away ...

A good phone. Excellent pictures and sound but occassionally hangs. Sometime loses sound and hangs when alternating between silent and normal modes. Would be nice if the radio worked without the headphones as an aerial via the speaker.

Depending on where you purchase the W800i, it can range from 12,000 Php to 20,000 Php. I suggest you canvas all the shops (particularly at Cyberzone) to find a good deal. You'll thank yourself for it and save money too.

Are you trying to open .pdf files "about the phone" or "in the phone"? If it's the latter, you most definitely CAN'T! Only smart-phones have .pdf support. Do your research man! Haha!
