look, i've had many phones that havnt got lens protection.. never have any of them gotten scratched.. please be more generous on your comments on why u deliberately hate this phone
jacqueline: Press the w button and it will show the standby time and icons if u have missed calls or sms.
I just got this phone yesterday, and when its in standby it is just a blank screen but the book says is should show the time. Its doing my head in that I can't see if I've missed a call or txt without pushing a button - can you tell me how to change the standby - can't seem to work it out !!
try the latest firmware. My phone would occassionally drop out for no reason, even when reception was good.
Since i upgraded the firmware last week, it has not dropped out unexpectedly. Too early to say it's fixed for sure, but promising so far. The flashing light issue is also gone now.
I just got it, is anyone have same problem with my Cellphone? it's always disconect by itself, is it software problem or the cellphone?.Pro; good sound speaker, good screen, nice looking, safe energy, easy to connect with computer. Cons; reception not good, drop all the time, noisy navigate button.
Can anyone tell to me, what is the capacity of sms storage?? In my old 630 was about 70, in nokia 150, in samsung 200. Thanks :)
Yes confused me too
all I wanted to know was what is the reception like cos my other SE was crap compared to my Nokia.
But the w810i is certainly featured packed which is why I like it
Well that post certainly confused me. Telephone companies use one frequency not two. This phone, like many others, is quad band so should work in almost every country.
hey guys check the frequancy on the t610 or w 810i and you are gonna notice theires 1 missing .Wierless companie use usally 2 frequency so youre t610 do nat have a signal it's normal you do not have the secound frequency the for this area call servise provider
Man get a 2 or 4 g memorycard memory stick duo pro and you have a 512 in there that cn hold 100 songs max do the math !
plz plz plz can anybody tell me. yesterday i bought w810i but it has a very low volume.it hasn't loud sound.i compare its songs with w800 and k750 but its sound is much low than k750 and w800.why sony ericsson loses its sound.even its a latest model of k 750 or w800.i also set its equalizer to highest manually.plz solve my problem,is it a geniune problem.is its sound lower than k750 or w800.thnx

Spoken like a true Nokia fanboy who has never had a W810i. Does Nokia even offer software updates in any form?
I love how they latch on to the FEW bug reports from ages ago that have all been patched like a bulldog to a bone.
The Nokia fanboys all seemed obsessed by the flashing light bug. Could this be because Nokia's don't even have flash?
Enjoy your flashing camera light, low volume, plasticky casing, trebley rubbishy speaker covered by a plastic meshed grill and over the air update service that dont work
Well, i'm getting this phone tomorrow and like i've been reading this forum for awhile kinda sad though. well anyways i like this phone because the design is way better then most of the other phones. It has a lot of features so i'll probably have this phone for awhile. Its a perfect walkman phone plus a camera phone. Having no lens cover doesn't make this phone shit. Nokia phone doesn't have lens cover but still takes great pictures. This phone is probably one of the best phone that has came out. I have no problems what so ever with this phone. Phone isn't perfect unless you think is perfect for you. If you don't like this phone, might aswell get a new one that suits you. This phone is perfect for me.
Thats the point all variables including network were the same, i.e both on vodafone both in exactly the same location but the Nokia 8210 had a signal SE T610 did not.
poor SE scraped the lens cover, however i believe that signal srength is determand more by the network and not by the phone, i have w810i on o2 and never had any signal problems
