Guys! I need suggetion. Whether I should take a plastic clear case or a crystal clear case for my w810i. I feel crystal 'd be nicer but 'd be heavy so maybe I'd go for plastic. Honest suggetions please. HIghly appreciated. Cheers!
i am so interesting and so love all sony ericsson phone, but w 800 or w 810 which is better?
hey! i don know why you are complaining, this phone is a piece of artwork! it is perfect in every way possible. it also contains new functions, like the automatic phone and card memmory viewing. i just got it.............and it is freaking cool! nobody can beat this 2mega pixel....hehehehehe
W810i = 100 x 46 x 19.5 mm
Nokia N91 = 113.1 x 55.2 x 22 mm
The W810i fits nicely in the hand. The N91 doesn't even fit nicely in the pocket.
N91 camera = No autofocus and no flash
N91 = microdrive and not flash memory so to much jolting will cause the playback to freeze.
If you're going to be a Nokia fanboy they do so in the Nokia forums.
i just came into some money difficulties all of a sudden and mayneed to sell this great little phone, i'm gutted but unforseen circumstances and all that
Buy myself an ipod? ha ha
ipods are crap, unreliable junk
i want a phone that can do it all in one
why carry around sat nav units, mp3 players, PDA facilities etc etc etc
and for your info the Nokia N91 beats an ipod for sound quality and volume, Nokia are NOT bricks you inbred!
My hearing is nothing special I just don't believe music has to be loud enough to make my brain shake. As stated below this phone is a good all rounder. Brilliant 2MP camera with auto focus and very bright flash, good audio player with excellent headphones supplied, a well balanced SMS system and it's a nice sized phone unlike the bricks Nokia is producing at present.
I have seen these phones going for £255 sim free from online stores.
I do like the fact I can take the memory card out of this and put it in my PSP to view the photos.
its a nice all rounder .. i dont use phones for music so i dont give a damn about the volume.. if you want to listen to music buy yourself an ipod or something cheapass.. the camera is useful 2mp as opposed to the 1.3s on other competetors.. its attractive the right size and has good quality reception.. oh and its not as flimsy as the n70..
Why are you selling it?
i have seen some on Ebay UK for as low as £205 with free postage
You must have advanced hearing then
the output volume is not that good on the W810i
and dont be sarcastic!
the N91 beats it at sound quality AND volume output, i own both these phones! so i know what the hell im talking about
heyy.. my phone is not updating to the pnes listed to this site (cxc 1250320 R4CE012).. everytime i try to update it it says i already have the latest one which it says its (cxc 1250316 R4Ck003).. any suggestions on how i can update to the latest one.. ill appreciate it if u can email me on firstname.lastname@example.org ... thanks....
@CS - You have to put the music files in the music folder.
As to the so called volume problem. I use the W810i to listen to music whilst out riding my bike and I tend to just have the volume on 7 with the maximum being 8. The supplied headphones are designed to block out most external noise when fitted correctly and even with the volume at 7 I can only just here the traffic noise. People have been complaining about the volume/quality of the loudspeaker but as I have said before this is a portable MP3 player not a stereo. Does the iPod have a speaker? Do any portable MP3 players have speakers and if so aer they loud and clear? I believe the answer is a resounding no. It is an MP3 player (ok technically it's an audio player) and is designed to be listened to through headphones and comes with an excellent set for that very purpose.
I hope the output volume improves on the W850 and W950 handsets, otherwise it will suck big time!
I dont no how loud the W900 is, but i have sent 2 of my W810i handsets back, yes the sound quality is very very good, but Maximum volume is not good, and no thats not me saying this, other people i have let listen agree with me.. i wont be buying an SE again, shame though, coz this phone has everything that blows away the competition, but music is important to me...
can anybodu help me?
i wanna buy a walkman phone and i'm not sure to buy w810 or w900
the most important thing for me is the sound loudness and quality
can anybody help me wich one is better?
i like the phone. the features are good. but the phone lacks basic realibity. With my nokia phones i could call and stay on the call for as long as i want. It would never cut off. With my sony ercisson (w810i), the maximum call length it went up to is just 19 minnutes. thats all. and sometimes even 10 minuites. And this is from a new w810i phone.very dispoointing. It loses signal or something. Symptons are that first i cant hear the person on the other side anymore, and then after 3 seconds it just hangs up. its sooo annoying..But the reception bar is full. And i have called many people. same problem. Anyone have ideas what the problem could be? maybe my sim card?
with SE(sony ericsson) u can record the phone call between u and the other person on the line. But u cant play it back during a call. With Nokia fones u can record and play it back during a call. Any suggesstions of how the recordings can be played back during a call for SE?
Another thing is the smsing. When u recive a msg, the " time at which the msg was sent" is NOT what is shown on the msg. The "time at which ur fone receives the msg" is the thing shown on the phone. So if someone sent a msg around 2 am, and your fone was off, and u turned ur fone on at 8 pm. U will recive the sms and it will say "8 pm" instead of 2 am which is when it was actually sent. Nokia fones show the " time at which the sms was sent" which is better in my opinion. Any ideas how to change the feature on SE to make it like Nokia fones?
Is there any way to have those featrues in SE like they are in nokia
can anyone tell me how the hell do i transfer mp3/wma songs recieved by Bluetooth to be used as a playlist in NOW PLAYING?
I have been using this phone for the past 1.5 months. The phone is simply brilliant. No bugs encountered so far.No LED flashing problem either. Battery life is pretty good. Lasts me about 2.5-3 days when I listen to MP3s/FM for about 2 hours daily. Not bad, what say?
It is sick to note that Nokia fans are posting crap out here about SE. I have used Nokia for the past 4 years and I agree about the user friendliness etc. but SE rocks when you talk about sound quality, build & aesthetics. Performance is as good as Nokia if not better. I just love this phone. Its beautiful and its a performer.........a good one that too.
