i hav just seen this phone on gsm arena i would like to go for the same i love the features of the phone
absolutley fab.i had the se w810i and that was, but this is much better
1. the speaker is much louder then w810
2. earphones are the same but are not so louder like at w810 dunno why
the phone maker never make a perfect phone, if they make they ill lose the businese.... don b stupid to cacth that~ this phone is price suitable n nice oredi....
remember that the w850i comes with a 1 GB pro duo card for all your favorite songs
i sometimes wonder if gsm even reads this forum. after so many queries about a review i've yet to see any statement from any gsm representative.
hello? anyone out there?
if so could you reply on this particular forum when a review will be done? at least a time frame of sorts?
i already had this phone a week ago..i love this phone so much!
to : aj
To bad, it cannot play wma format..i already try it when i read your post..it cannot play wav format too..
mikaa: Go for the W850i. It doesn't have a very good camera, but the music quality it gives out is of a very very high order. You won't regret getting it.
Ive tried most phone brands and i really like SE. Nokia's software is crap, "worst graphics ever, always freezes, low battery life, etc...".
In my opinion buy a k800i or a w850i because there the best phones in the market right now, if u use an mp3 more than a camera, buy a w850 if u need the cam buy a k800i.
I'm currentley using this phone, and i have to say "ITS THE BEST PHONE EVER" way better than i expected!!!!!!!!
wanna ask,i bought this W850 last week, and i hav a problem with the Baterry.i have to charge it every day.at the first day i charged it in 16 hours, but its running out in just one day,and at the next day is always the same.don't know why...can anybody help me??thanks before...(i have changed the brightness screen in 70% too,but it didn't take better)
To cho: i know its annoying i want a review on this handset and its been out for a while now!
will gsm ever post a review on this phone? its been a while now and even non released phones have received reviews from them. sure there are other reviews but i think a review by gsm would make it official so to speak.
but at this rate its possible gsm would not do a review...hope this is not the case
just wondering if the phone supports WMA format songs... cos ive been asking around n no one knows... cos 30% of my songs are in WMA format n i love this phone so much... it'd be a waste if it didnt support WMA...
please do post soon...thanks

how can you compare the w850 ith the n73? there totaly differen't phones lol. nothing to compare between the two apart from there phones... the w850i is better built... more style... looks better is is basically a better phone... just to let you know aswell it has a BETTER battery then the n73 which is appauling life...
> Mukul Dudeja
the w850i is the higher end of the two. it also has better software on the phone... the w810i has walkman version 1.0 whee as the w850 has version 2.0... visually looks btter on the phone and the functions have been imporved... including a good feature where u can record 10 seconds of a song and it will tell you what the song is tyhe artist ect..
Batgirl: Well, the crackling on the screen hasn't happened ever since I wrote my previous post, so I think it might be due to some static or something, but it's just a wild guess, 'coz it hasn't occured again today at all. But I don't think it should be a cause for worry. The S700i I previously had was prone to a few quirks of its own from time to time, but never failed on me. I think its probably something to do with the OS that SE uses. Nothing to worry about, though. And if in case something does happen, the phone is in warranty for a year at the least. Always remember to back up your data, be it your PC or any other electronic data storage devices.
Nick: Haven't used the conversion software provided in the kit, so I can't really answer your question. I only transferred my pre-ripped collection on to the phone, with no re-ripping required. I only converted the mp3 files to AAC in iTunes.
Unknown poster: Even I can't zoom the camera. It's pretty useless anyway, since digital zoom destroys photo quality. Since the camera on this model is of a slightly inferior quality to the one on the other W series and the K800/790i, I think SE made a good choice by leaving out the zoom. If, however, zoom is possible, then I must feign ignorance on the same front.
Independant George: I paid USD 450 for the phone (incl. of all local taxes).
ricky: Please use the phone before commenting on it. On this forum, we don't comment on other phones if we haven't used them. All we can express our opinion on is a product that is being used or has been used for a significant period of time. Going through your post, it is quite obvious that you've never even held the phone in your hand, let alone use it. Please refrain from any more useless posting.
i don't think so that it will help music lovers as first of all its battery back up is not so good more over u have to slide it every time u use it, hence it is not a good phone for a longer run,and later in time it will.So better to go for N73 rather than to take..
Wondering how much those of you who just purchased the phone paid?
Just wondering im considering this phone, when you rip your cd's can you choose as to what format you like, i.e mp3 or the eaac+ format which means you can get 1000 songs on a 1GB card?
