this phone looks good.. except.. u got w800 and w900 which r jus bout the same.. wots the point SE? the only SE phone il ever like is w800.. thats the best.. otherwise.. go nokia!!
This one does not impress me.
No Autofocus, Looks so terribly ugly on backside ewwwwe...
sony eric never made a sliding phone.does it slide or revolve like w550 or w600?
I don't know y sony ericsson making lots of walkman based phones , y cant they make some good phones like p910i p990 like that one which we can install applications....
I agree that in some ways this phone seems to be a step back from the current phones. No autofocus, no Mpeg 4 playback and the camera resolution is slightly less than the W810i.
NO mpeg4, video? !!! hmm is the only cool thing about this is the slide design of this phone by Sony Ericsson, otherwise it seems to lack in functions =\ compared to the w810, w900 and so on
As far as I can see the carphone warehouse website says it will be out in july. So hopefully won't have to wait until september!
@Chriz - DK
I'd wait until this comes out and you get a chance to play with it then you can compare this with the others but remember this is a three phone.
I did notice you said Samsung D600 and not 800 or 900. I was going to ask why but then I played with the 800 and I think Samsung phones are getting uglier.
Personally I can't wait to see how big this phone is and how it fits in the hand. Yes the sizes are in the specs but thats not the same as seeing it with your own eyes and holding it. If it's not to big this could be the phone that makes me move to 3.
Certainly one for the wish list, the main failing of previous Sonyericsson handsets was the joystick, this seems to have been overcome by the introduction of micro buttons, it will be interesting to see how easy they are to operate. S/E software tends to be stable compared to other brands so I can't imagine it would have to many bugs to contend with but hopefully the radio will be inbuilt rather than the terrible plug in unit on the w900. S/E is jumping on the slide screen concept following in the foot steps of the D500/600 and the latest addition Nokia’s N80, just hope this is as good as the N80. One to watch . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Vodafone states that W850 will be out in June but Sony Ericsson UK's website states that it will be out in September. Which one will it be?
this phone and the w810 are basically the same... softwear wise...but this phone looks nicer
i'm choosing between the w850 and the n73, anyone got any suggestion? or i think i will buy the one that's available first
