No I disagree I think Nokia phones designs are getting worse each year so get a Sony Ericsson they have simple but stylish designs!
Please could someone using a 2gig memory card with their W880i tell me if it works well, or not? Thanks everyone.
SE phones lack features seen on nokias but they never fail to impress costumers for it's qualitative attributes offered. you can have a nokia with loud speaker but SE has clearer implementation. nokia can have 10Mp + Carl-Zeiss but SE can have 5Mp Super HAD CCD sensor quality intelligence from Sony. Nokia can have all communications built in a small device but SE can always have it's counterpart in he form of add-on features/accessories without compromising the most essential thing; battery life. nokia can have 2000MaH Li-ion battery but SE can have 1500maH battery in lithium polymer type(which is proven better since K750) that's what we called quality over quantity.
The phone has lot of potential but I think S.E has to improve a lot like other Manufacturers, No Doubt speaker quality is the best when compared to many mobiles in the market, but many flaws like phone has 2MP without flash. SMS messages when enquired from the dealer can be stored up to 50-60. Keypad is so thin that it is irritating while dialing.
we can definitely feel the heat because of it's slimness, unlike in large phones in which heat were sucked by the large components of the device, the reason why in some phones we experience busted chips, ROMs or ICs which were not a new scenario in philippines's repair shops... Lol=D!!!
Filipino GSMArena posters! Rock on!!!
The slim beauty- W880i..
It has almost everything u need from a phone except no radio... but it's still one of the best phone in the world today...
rite ive had the phone for about 2 weeks now an i cant find a light or a flash on the camera now that isnt very gud considerin its a £280 phone an very basic phones have them can anyone help me out here?

sg, this is regarding the overheating..i recently got this 2days ago and it kinda worried me too as it did get hot quick :/
im now going to google regarding this problem and also make a call to se about it and ill get back to you asap sg:)
ive had the fone now for 2/3 weeks and its superb..it replaced my k610(which isa great phone too :) )
Sony Ericsson's advantage over the consumer's interest was the sheer small size with still powerful features(i.e. walkman 2.0 and 3mp camera) in which nokia hardly makes one for us because of the over features. nokia's slimmest phone yet are the 2630 and 6300 which when compared to W880, feature wise they lose while SE has W880 and T630 with bristling walkman 2.0 and 3.2mp camera. i wonder if nokia can make a phone similarly sized of either the two SE phones with PAR or better feature-o-size ratio.
Does anyone know what size MS card the phone supports? I know it supports the 2GB card but am wondering if it supports the 4GB card and if it will support the 8GB and later larger memory cards?
I live in the US and I really like this phone!! But its only a triband and I've been told to always go with quadband. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the phone in the US or any triband phone. I need to know what the signal and general use is like in the USA before I go ahead and invest in it.
i got this handset 5 days ago, and last night it started to heat up! extremely hot, and just switched off and now i can't turn it on. can anyone tell me if you'v had any problems like this ?
