phone owners please comment on stefan comment:
Material is so cheap, design just soso
it does not sound resonable...
the design and matetial seems great...
ratings are going down because all of the n95 fanboys are outraged that SE beat out nokia!!
why the Voting results are going down last week was 8.8 , 8.8 , 8.8 now is 8.6 , 8.7 , 8.7 ..something smells fishi... :-s
thanks a lot for all your comments - but i am not looking for a stereo BT headset.
on the contrary - i have a greta A2DP headset (Jabra BT620s) and want to keep using it.
i am currently a SAMSUNG user (D900) and want to move to SE W890.
i just want to know what is the W890 stereo BT experience and will also be happy to know if they are compatible with Jabra -the Jabra site state it is:
i find the Jabra great as there are no wires at all (unlike the HBH DS200), i use it when training so this is important. i also use the jabra with my laptop and my D900 and they work great.
i was just very happy to know if A2dp works well with the W890 and whether it is compatible with the Jabra BT620s.
BTW about the iPhone - is it going to have A2DP for a change?
is it going to be compact for a change?
where can i find the future spec?
To Zorro (part 2). Re HBH DS200 Stereo Bluetooth headset, I omitted to mention a very important benefit. Unlike most stereo BT headsets, with this one, voice calls are heard through both ears, not just one. This makes a big difference. I cannot rave about this product enough. I imagine the HBH DS200 will sound even better on a W890 than my K800i as the W890 is a true Walkman. Was thinking of waiting for the next generation iPhone (May/June 2008) but only plan to get one if Apple release it on Vodafone, else it's a W890 or other good music equipped SE. (Unsure whether to go Nokia, the N96 tempts!)
Just bought it 3days ago.. but dissapointed.
Material is so cheap, design just soso.. camera no good.. i wish the speaker can be more louder..The speaker quality almost same with Nokia5310.. Not recommended!!!!
To Zorro: Re Stereo Bluetooth. I own a Sony Ericsson K800i (still great after all this time) + 2GIG memory card loaded with my tunes. But what makes it special is my Sony HBH DS200 (220 if black) Stereo Bluetooth headset. a) Excellent sound quality thanks to built in bass boost. b) Headphones unplug from the transmitter/receiver so you can connect ANY other headphones using the 3.5mm jack. c) Great battery life. d) No playback controls, other than play/pause/volume, but I never find it a problem. I ware my K800i around my neck and grab it to change tracks etc. I am thinking of (size wise) downgrading to a W890 as although the camera is not as good as the K800i, it is half the thickness. Anyway, you can get the HBH DS200/220 for under £50 (UK) and you will not be disappointed. I don't understand why they are not hyped enough. Oh, and I tried mine on an LG Viewty the other day and the sound was fantastic too.
without the flash wouldn't it be inconvenient?
and does it have back light?
i will promise that if w890i had come with flash.. it would have been best, better, ultimate mobile among other mid level mobiles...why do SE doesnt provide flash for w series except other than w810i,w960i..... i can say the only drawback of this mobile is that it doesnt have flash.....
Are the camera and the sound quality of loudspeaker nt good enough of w890i?
how come we heard nothing about bluetooth headphones sound and user experience?
A2DP is a great feature and a great way to listen to music!
i personally use it two years - no wires:-)
if someone is using stereo BT - please let us have feedbacks.
I just got this phone last week. It's amazing. I love it. If you want a sleek phone, very light, and very attractive handset, then this is the phone for you. I have the N82, but found that I dont use have the features on it, so i purchased this phone. There are a few let downs on this phone though...Camera is terrible (for those who use the camera feature excessively..i personally dont). also, the loudspeakers arent very loud at all, however when the the earphones are in, the sound quality is amazing. Also, the battery doesnt seem to last "up to 9 hours" talktime..I'm a bit disappointed about that, seeing as that was one of the key reasons i got this phone. It could just be my battery. All in all...its a great phone! Is it worth 400-500 USD? probably not. if you can afford it, then go for it, if not..then wait a bit. :)
