W900 for sure. If its good pictures your after check out the comparison GSMArena did between the N90 and W800 (which has same 2mp auto focus camera as W900) http://www.gsmarena.com/nokia_n90_vs_sonyericsson_w800-review-46.php. If its music your after then the W900 would also win there hands down.
The screen resolution on the N90 is awesome, but to be fair if thats not the most important thing on your mind, the screen on the W900 is far from a disappointment.
Symbian OS is also present on the N90 so the ability to install 3rd party applications on the phone is a huge bonus if your into that kinda thing. If not the OS the the W900 should be just fine.
All in all, in my opinion, if its just a telephone ya want with the a photo video and music stash, then the W900 is for you.
Hope this helps
Ya prayers have been answered mate! Ya seen the w810 on the GSMArena homepage???? They kept that one up their sleeve. Likin it a lot too. Look forward to seein the proper specs & Pics page cos they've not got one up as yet (hint hint!!!!)......
Looks like there may be a new contender! I'd kinda gone off the idea of gettin the W900 since I get that tom tom software - I were gonna get the P990 when it came out and GSMArena's review of the W900 kinda put the final nail in the coffin. A P990 it was. This ere new w810's just chucked a rite spanner in the works!!! All confused again now!
Plus it says its release Q1 2006. Take note Nokia, samsung etc. This is how to treat your customers. Announce a phone, release it quickly. N91 anyone?????? No thanks.
What a piece of **** !! I think this is destined for the children with EXTREMELY WEALTHY parents, who feel that having the most expensive phone in their school will make hem the coolest.
This Phone is as expensive as a medium camera (CCD matrix, 3 mp, 3x optical zoom), an Ipod (4-5gb) and an ordinary mobile phone together.
btw is isn't even a smart phone !
Have SE completely lost their common sense?
Hey Timmy, no white screens...yet.. well I don't think it will. Yea everything works; vodafone live,3G .. but the tv mobile service doesn't work.. maybe when vodafone releases W900 (in NZ). I had a choice of nokia n90,w900, or sharp but chose sony as it has best sound quality on a phone. And large internal memory~!
Buy SEW900 if you're looking for good sounds, good quality pics. Can't say much about N90 as I don't have 1.

I've come to know that the FM Radio is not a part of Mobile and it is integrated in the remote which comes along with the handsfree. If it is so how can we hear FM Radio in the Phone speaker. Please 'r' me that whether we can hear the FM Radio in the phone speaker or not?
hmm jus got chance 2 read da review now (finaly) da fone seems gud however on d sumary gsm seemed a litle neg but a do get ware day cumin from a fone like dis may b a mater ov taste (despite beter features) gsm seems 2 like d w800 mor i got a w800 has n e 1 upgraded from w800 2 w900, is it worth it? p.s iv it helps a do like ma w800 especialy da size.
I dont know what exactly you did about the GSM network, but dont search for a non 3g network and use. Just choose the mode of turning the 3g off and only GSM, it increased my z800i battery life from 2 days to 4-5 days if tops.
YO Peter, Im a Kiwi also hehehe, i have just sold my Sharp 903 and i really liked it, Have you come accross this White Scren thing??Is it a good phone? cos in NZ 903 is SOO hard to get now, Japan have perm locked the Black 903 to Full Jap firmware and we cant put NZ firmware on it now, Therefore cant have Full Vodafone Live :( Thanks
I got mine today, in New Zealand.. Pretty good so far, good sound quality and pic quality. Disadvantage is size, protection of phone, battery life. I'll have to see if battery improves after few charges later on. The lens of camera feels like it'll get damaged easily as it is almost leveled to the side of the phone. so when putting it on a surface, almost touches the lens.
there is nothing called as battery calculator. Its just that the game software eats up charge when it is running and we quit the game, the phone returns to its normal use. It is then that the battery regains some of its lost charge. This is there in every battery that every mobile phone uses.
I=improved, i work for a phone company also, in fact the biggest one in the world
this is why the battery indicator goes down when you use it, and bounces back again shortly after....
SE has a battery calculator based on your current use. For instance if you are playing games, for example you may see battery life drop to 2 bars. It means the mobile has calculated that if you continue to play games, you will have about 2 bars usage left.
You'll notice that once you stop playing games and go back to stanby screen, battery may shoot up to 3+ bars etc Again it's symbolic of current use, so it's worked out that if you leave it how it as is on low use, the battery will give you X amount of life.
It's a very useful feature. But I think perhaps you should have the option to turn it off. I personally like having it there, as you always have a good indication of how much battery life your losing doing what.
