What do users of the phone think of the size of it when the swivel is open? and also can you talk on the phone if the swivel is not open?
very nice..got one for christmas..just released here in the philippines..get one for yourself! worth every buck!
As I have read the white paper of this phone its amazing... I'm getting one soon. You can use wireless headset via Bluetooth.
I've got a SE V800 (has served me very well!) and the contract on that expired last month, I'm thinking about upgrading to this phone, is it much bigger/heavier?
er...can we use wireless headsets for this phone...coz' ive heard it does not support MoB (Music over Bluetooth) technology...n so we cannot use wireless headsets...is this true...??;(:(
Hey W900i Users,
1] What is phones battery model number ?
It is made in china?
2] What is the model number of the headset ?

Your responses would be appreciated.

hmmm.. i would like to know if i set a ringing tone or a message tone in mp3 format... when my phone rings or recieves a sms, how long will it play the mp3? or will it only play for 10 secs..?
sirisoma bandara - Speakers are NOT earplugs.. speakers are the sound that comes out of the actual phone. Although I know nothing about quality, and as you say the W900 is better.. you can't do anything to improve the W800.
The W900 also has a SLIGHTLY better camera as the horizontal pixel count is higher. It's hardly a difference though.

"I've been to the shops around Perth in Western Australia and they all said that this phone will only arrive here in January. They told me the phone price would be about AUS$1000. I just have to take a look at it first to see if it is good and wait for the price to drop ;)"
Could you email me telling me which stores you asked around in Perth? I live in Sydney and no one knows wtf I'm talking about when I ask for the W900. They're like.. "yes we already have the W800"!!!
Anyways thnx in advance.. plz reply =]
oh, the price is $779.99 at WElectronics now! I wonder how much will it cost when N80 becomes available by then...
if you want a linux powered phone, wait for panasonic to release their 3G mobile phones next year, perhaps.. here's the link:
conversely NEC also uses Linux OS on their units (if i'm not mistakin', pls. correct me if i'm wrong) i think these two will appeal to you.
by the way, Merry Christmas to all! :)
hey i need 2 knw somethings... the k750i, w800i and this has the same camera quality right...? and the w900i has better sound quality with the speakers since it has 3D speakers.. but if u fix the w900i earplugs to the k750i or the w800i u get the same quality right...?
or if the w900i and the w800i has the same earplugs... fixin the w800i plugs wil give same quality...?
thnk you... 100 msgs is a bit of a disadvantage.. speacially when ur used to usin nokias which has a LOT more msg space... contact space n such... but i luv this k750i, n the w800i...
are we able to make this phone support a2dp and avrcp? if we can then i'm going to buy this instead of samsung's d600

Guest they must not hav burn the cd software that comes with the phone properly there4 its no use when the CD is corrupt. Or it could just be the software has a problem with the Windows/Mac OS systems there.
Show you dnt need to keep 100 sms's! wat do u wanna keep 'em 4 anyway? i mean my faithful Sony Ericsson K700i is still serving me well with only keeping around half that of the w900!
no you don't need to open the phone to answer a call. You can do almost everything from the buttons on the outside of the phone. I only open it to write text messages, and dial numbers not in my phone book. everyhing else can be done without swiveling it open
and i hope it doesn't come lose with age. To early to tell yet. Ask again in 6 months!!
For the W900i owner / user, when an incoming call is received, do you have to open the phone?
Does the spring mechanism wear out after time? Become loose?
