got my w900 last summer from Dubai... but in less than 3 months it broke really bad. the flash memory, or microprocessor broke and my only sollution to fix it is to change the motherboard, which costs about 400 euros!!! so i'm not gonna b able to fix it at all. this phone was a waste of money(i payed 470$ for it).
The phone is d BOMB!went 2 d shop here bt nt in d market.Pls does d 2 small separate woofer speakers cum with every new one?
I got a W900i a while back, paid a lot for it. But let me tell you something, in a couple of months I get a brand new phone on my contract. I've been looking on the market to see what is being offered and NOTHING comes close to what my baby can offer me. I love my phone to bits, and even after 18 months of abuse (and I mean ABUSE) it still looks and works great. So to the guys at Sony, WELL DONE... I don't know what made you stop making it, its the best phone ever built!!!
I agree with tsepz
yeah...this is the history!!!!
this phone is the mother of all walkman even more advance than the featureless w950
but in my homecountry Indonesia, the price get lower and lower for the second hand about US$260. the brand new still at US$400.
Yesterday my friend in Indonesia told me that W900 is out of stock....hope the price will go up soon....:)
it's because the production has stopped. And to think Sony Ericsson squeeze in all the features in this phone for a trial product.
This phone has the most complete feature from all of the walkman phones.
I get headaches when looking for a white W900i
Advise for everyone; if you saw a brand new W900i, don't think twice. Just get it. It's the mother of all walkman phones
Thanx for telling us that Calvin, WOW this phone has realy kept its price well, I wonder if its going to stay like that when the P1i is released. BUT WOW the W900 should realy go down in mobile history as a phone that has held its price very well, held it better than even a P990 which has now become VERY cheap
this phone definitely much louder than W850
this phone is price at S$1000+ at sim lim square singapore or US$680+ for the brand new
do you believe?
I'm not, but when i checked this to another place, it has the same price range.... Even the 2nd hand is about S$600 or US$408, for the only phone with charger....
I can't believe it, the price was went up!
hi! guys can u tell me wich phone is best by sound and quality w850i or w900i please mail me if u know about it.
this is the best mobile phone ewer i buy my black w 900 .price used mobile in bosnia :250 $.beliwe me is the best
Oh okay, as far as i know the W830/W850 can take 8GB and 4GB is the best for good speed, rather visit W830 forum to confirm this
well plannin to buy the fone from the states .. from new jersey to be more precise and in particular wanted to know wedr or not the 8gb card works well in w830...if not then whats the maximum memory dat 1 can have wit w830 witout havin much of fone speed trouble... thanx
yes its upto 8GB and other W-phones that use the same mem card are the W800, W810 and W850. From what i have heard at Esato forums the W900 works perfectly with an 8GB mem card, the phone itself has alot of internal memory as wel,it has 470MB internal to back up some files. where are you/who buying the phone from? because when buying the phone new it generaly doesnt come with a memory card since it has such a huge internal memory, but yes some do sell it with a 1GB or 2GB memory card that you can replace with a 4GB or 8GB memory card.
The 8 gb card u reffering to will b put in place of the 1 gb card dat comes in the fone rite.. n i wud have to buy dis mem card also wanna know can i use the same mem card in the other W series fones if yes den what fones can i use it in and yea m sure it wud affect the fone's speed ... i mean is it advisable to use the 8gb card ... if not den whats the alternative or a substitute to have an amazing mem. bakup... merci beaucoup
I have this phone and its AWESOME and guess what i wont buy any other phone because they suck.. this is totally the best phone ever.. yes it has Radio. It also has VERY VERY Loud Volume.
