mark, 16 Oct 2008This phone is not worth it for its price.. for the same price i can get n95 8gb with wifi, gps... morebetter sound quality, better built material, better design, better interface and much more. thats why SE RULE
This phone is not worth it for its price.. for the same price i can get n95 8gb with wifi, gps, document reader, stereo sound, VGA video recording, huge screen, 3d, dedicated dsp, 3.5mm, tv out, etc. In fact, i did get one for my girlfriend just recently. I'll probably just wait for n85 to come out so I won't miss the slick form factor that w902 has to offer (though it is still a big phone but smaller than n95) and see if it will be priced too expensive, otherwise it's n95 8gb for me and my gf. Willing to sacrifice the bulkiness and being SE fanboy for functionality and practicality.
I love walkman phones, but I have to say, I think it took SE a good long time to make something significantly better than the w900 (particularly in regards to its AMAZING camera). I think this is a worthy successor to the line: excellent feature set, excellent battery life, and looks sooo nice! The only problem is it's so expensive. In case SE, Nokia, Samsung, Etc still haven't heard, the global economy looks like an early windows mobile phone (slow, incapable, and needs to be reset)
- it is too late for this phone. the other brands already release this kind of phone (camera+music phone combination) years ago.
- the side music buttons is definitely somebody else's idea. ROTFL
Today I got my W902. Great looks, great fealing and great sound!!. It is a very slim phone also. There is not one thing I don't like, or it would be the absensce of the AM-radio I read about.
The interface is very similar to the K800i I used till today. What I do like is the improvement of the video. Thanks SE.
I didn't use email and internet yet, but that is not the most important feature of this phone.
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Lol, WTF are you on about?
How wrong you are.
Walkman phones are the king of music phones, and their designs are all unique, unless of course they're the upgrade to a previous model, which makes sense to base it around the same design. E.g W850i & w910i.
Nokia Express is a weak attempt to the Walkman series.
So sit down & STFU.
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970So true. & I swear their models are getting bigger by the day.
