Need a reality check? The samsung phones CANNOT multitask! It stops the music the moment you bring up the task manager. Also, the U600/U700 looks pretty plain to me. I'd rather go for a Motorola RAZR MaxxV6 which came out at the time and is it's direct rival, along with the Samsung A706. Also, their headphones that come with it don't play the music with great quality, which is what even the Motorola headphones have. I'm sorry, but Samsung phones look good, though sound bad.
And true, the camera IS the only thing to come from the U600/U700 to the W910, but even then, the camera doesn't bring out a good quality. It just has a fast and good interface, that's all.
Nice gold! Sony's just teasing us right now. ARGH...Release it already!
heres the gold.
its the havana edition XDDD
ahh..the link is not usable. well, just go to intomobile.com and search w910i. should get u there..
i really cant wait for this phone!!
try this link for the new white color
The only thing worth jumping the boat over for both the U600 & U700 is the 3.2Mp autofocus camera which is exceptional.
If your into slim packaged photography, go Samsung.
If your into slim packaged hardcore multimedia, GO SONY "ALL THE WAY!" W910!
Guys !!!... i found some snaps of this beauty .. check them out !
Who tells you that u600 has a poor mp3 player and build quality. Have you ever touched this phone. This phone reflects your personality. It is also veryyy slim. But if you need 3g you can get u700.Samsungs new 2007 mp3 players in phones are really cool, clear, loud. And most impotant it has 3.2 mp baby. Dont forget that.
But the isn't 3G or even HSDPA. It has a smaller screen, worse mp3 player and has shocking build quality.
To everyone that want opinion bout w910 and w580.... GO FOR W910!!!! its has a new walkman, new function and lots of new stuff!!!! w580 is just lika any other walkman with a pedometer!!! I picked up w580 due to my impatience and now i am stuck with it for a long time before i get e new phone...

Then it seems that Nokia and SE are on the same playing level when it comes down to hardware/material quality, though SE has the upperhand with it's sensors and accellerometre.
And no one said that it was the first time that SE had bad quality phones in their introductionary phones like the W850 with the new TrackID and Emotion/Heartbeat Illumination lights or the W580 with the first version of the Shaker Control and the second version of the slider emotion lights.
But we won't know if SE will change their ways or not. For now, their Candybar formed phones are really good quality, when compared against Nokia.
hey which phone is better? w580i or w910i? please i hope this phone will be under $350 canadian when it comes out. if over 350 is too expensive.
sorry if I seem rude, it is just that I didn't expect this bad quality from SE
*it is not the first time SE has fooled users: there are cracked d-pads w850 everywhere, ncluding in my hand right now
**SE s500 and se w580i have craking keys AND sliders problems
second: I have always been "loyal" to SE,I like theria baterries, walkmans and durability. In this case Durability is ZERO.
third: I insist_ No AF,plastic, only 2 megapixels, slider who knows what like....for more than 450 euros in the w910 is a ridiculous price.
fourth:I will buy what I want, but SE for me is not the 10/10 perfect quality trademark anymore.Price over quality? SE itself has changed that, and lots os ex-SE addicts agree(see ESATO forum)
Well if you want to go with Nokia, I mean it's their first time to let a regular phone of theirs have a different material component.
SE is staying with their compact plastic on this one, probably because they know it would've just made it heavy to have this phone be made with an alloy.
Which ever, it's price over quality it seems for you. W910 won't disappoint, but the Nokia, I can't tell. Though from my experience from using my friend's 5300 MusicExpress or whatever, it was pretty brutal, the interface. It wasn't as user friendly, because I guess it would've been something more logical, OR perhaps the same to a 3220 (which I used a long time ago), but it was neither. It was more of an aquired taste kind of thing. You'd have to love the phone's looks/features so much, you'll put up with how the interface is.
