nick, 24 Jun 2008yeah it would be flawed until sony ericsson winWell it is flawed, I have read a few sites that have tested this, and few people that have tested this and they all say the same that the battery lasts at about 24 hours, when you listen to music, and I can say that it's about right as I listen to music at about an hour and the battery goes down at about 3%, if you do the math that gets you about 24 hours if I listened to it that long. I am not trying to make it look like this phone is better or anyting, and I am not a fanboy, so if this was right at what you said, and the site you got it from, that reviewed it, then I would have said that they are right, but it's wrong, and it also looks like you don't have this phone and probably have not used it, and since you have not used it and tested this yourself you can't really say that as you don't know if it's really true, and if the tests that the site you got off is right and not flawed. The only thing I am trying to get with this is to show you that you are wrong, and the site that did the review is also wrong, also I am going to go with maybe you worded it wrong and might have meant something else, like video playback and not music, which then this could look like it could be, but I have not tested this and have not read any reviews that have, so I don't know about this.

mahmoud, 23 Jun 2008it has been my dream phone &now i have it.but also am encountering a problem whice pls if u ma... moreIt's hard to understand at what you are asking, so you need to clarify this, but if you can't as you don't know enough english then that is ok, but I did understand some of it so I am going to answer to that part. With this phone, w960, you get two memory storage options, one is 256 MB which some of it is used for the operating system and built in software, the other one is 8gb storage that you use to store your music, programs, pictures, video, and any other files you have. Throughout the phone and programs you will see the 256 MB storage being called, something like: internal storage, phone storage, and 8 GB will be NO NAME (that is if you didn't go through the wizard), media storage and I think also external storage. Also there is no way to extend the bult in memory as there is no memory card slot.
nick, 23 Jun 2008i got it from mobile-review. they have a huge article on it. it's very informative and they cl... moreThen their test is flawed, the person that is going to use this phone is going to use it with the headphones that you get with the w960 and also the volume is good enough at about 70%, so no one should need to play it at max volume, but even if a person was listening to it at maximum volume I don't think that the bettery would last for only 7 hours, since there is no big difference between 70% volume level and volume level at max. So their test is either wrong of flawed.
it has been my dream phone &now i have it.but also am encountering a problem whice pls if u may guide me on hw to uncrease d memory of d phone.d phone shows me the way through storage wizard bt i try&try&cant do it it so pls guide me through how to do it.tnx
Could anyone send me the link to get the free nice theme or send it to firstname.lastname@example.org if there is any nice software or games. Thax for those kind hearted. Anyway, if there is any software related to the medical knowledge, could anyone send to me ?
i got it from mobile-review. they have a huge article on it. it's very informative and they clearly state on max volume through headphones, the battery only lasts 7 hours whilst the n81 manages to play for over 10 hours.
they used the same headphones
nick, 22 Jun 2008erm nope music playback shows w960 going for just over 7 hours and the n81 for 10 hours.Don't know if you mean through the built in speaker or headphones but there is a few places and people that state, that they have tested this using the headphones and they found out that you can get about 24 hours of continues music playback with the w960. I have not tested this, but I know when I listen to music for about an hour the battery life goes down little over 3%. Don't know where you got your information but it's wrong or maybe you worded youself wrong and meant something alse.
