Yes, the battery life sucks. I bought a spare battery off of Ebay for only $5 and keep it as a spare in my car in case of emergency.
My only complaint of the W980 is the 'molasses' slow interface and the most IMPORTANT button on the phone, the CALL button, is extremely small. Even though I have small fingers - I still have troble presing this tiny button

this is my third walkman phone and I love it apart from the battery needing to be charged every day, even though I hadnt even loaded any music onto it! Have sent it back as o2 said this is a common complaint - excellent phone in every other way tho xx

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970I would say X1. Richest of all three in functionality and has style. W980 pure music, bad camera but nice and light. C905, best camera but quite bulky. I chose W980 because it's very light and has enough functionality to serve my purposes: business and pleasure.

Hey guys, the phone is all cool n everything..,ya tht part is fine..
But emm..,i'm using this phone for the past month n emm it just seems to hang up a lot..
Yesterday the phone got switched off and like it didnt show up the display for a good 3 hours..
Only after 3~4 hours did it start up like normal..
Does it happen with any of you guys?
I have had se phones earlier n this never happened..
N for this am just using this phone for the past month n there isnt even a scratch done on it..
Am sorta worried..
Is this normal or wht??

Recently i have purchased W 980 .. Compared to K810i ( My cybershot phone ) the interface of this phone is not as faster as K810i. But I started liking the FM transmitter.. can anyone know how far can the FM be transmitted ??
