guys, how can i exclude my ringtones from the walkman player? wen i used w960 it had an option that said "exclude sounds less than 1 mb" which was helpful

I'm new to SE.. but i seen alot of qualities that SE have, i have an NOKIA n93i.. the function is just ok.. but the quality of the sound reallly a problem.. guess i'll get this new SE w980. i Wonder how much is it..?

N91 has superior sound quality. try u... moreguys, there is a 3.5mm audio jack that comes in the box with every walkman phone! u just have to connect it :) btw.. they didnt implement the 3.5 mm jack on the phone coz it will make it look too ugly! take more space. plus their is no need, wether to have a 3.5 or not is optional for us, connected or not? our way :)

N91 has superior sound quality. try u... moreSo Let me get this straight, your paying Nokia all that money for an N91 and then you have spend money for Boose earphones and then upgrade the firmware to improve the 'Sound Quality'
now seriously, id rather not buy it for all that HASSLE!!!
SE Walkman's have GOOD SOUND QUALITY!, and come with Earphones as good as Sennheiser
so Nokia is basically Hassling People LOL!

3.5mm jack is unneccesary? sure! but with 3.5mm is more comfortably! and with fewer cable ._.
The problem of havent 3.5mm is the stupid fastport, it gets screwed up immediately, at least the one that I have had, fastport is very bad connection and occupies more space, even to hold the mobile.
It is my opinion. Anyhow I have not proved the w980 still! but i hate fastport.

Allowing handsfree call handling while using your own earphones. 3.5mm jacks are unneccesary. Why is it that only people who don't like the Walkman phones care aboiut a 3.5mm jack? Most of the people who DO like the Walkman phones don't bother about it. It's like complaining about a lack of wrist-strap eyelet - sure, they're handy but absolutely unneccessary...

I aint saying Loudness is the key to best audio quality. N91 has superior sound quality. try using the N91 4GB with v2.20.008 firmware and N91 8GB with v3.10.023 firmware coz firmware hold the improvements to sound quality.
some1 said sony ericsson earphones are better than Boose. give me a break, boose headphones are far superior to sony ericsson earphones and Sennheiser earphones.
BTW W980i is a music phone wheres the 3.5mm audio jack?

Fact is you were just trying to neglect what your ear hear differently than that of w980! loudness does not make the phone audio qaulity superior for christ sake. Beat this, has your N91 been aclaimed by well renowned testfactory lab in germany as best audio experience? i dont think so but w980 had... so better listen to it again and guess really who is the best. you refuse to see the difference that's why you still love the n91 of yours!!!!

sony ericsson has the best quality you can get straigth out of the box. sony ericsson doesnt need bose headset for quality. sony ericsson headset is even better than bose.
and yup n91 was the best music phone BEFORE. NOT NOW. sony ericsson has taken over the world of music phones. and this is it.

Really the fastport cable + earphone cable masure 2 meters? :(
I am having problems with the fastport of my w300 because free easily of the telephone in each moment (bought 6 months ago), due to this i dont know if buy w980, i dont want have the same problem :(

Higher Volume doesnt mean 'Quality'
its like Nokia put Stereo Speakers in there phones why???????
theres no reason for it, there practically useless
i mean only a***'s would blast music with them in public! WTF!
anyway SE has HIGH VOLUME Through the earphones, and Yeah its Loud i mean after 2 hours you have to take them out becuase its that LOUD! and the Output from Walkman phones is just CLEAR and CRISP Sound, and Treble is just Perfect, and and BASS! is just Spot On..i mean its the Perfect as they say 'SONIC EXPERIENCE' for Music! MegaBass feels like a Disco in the ears!!!!!!!!
and with all that Perfect, The Walkman Player is soo easyy to use and nicely designed.
i mean to get the next track you simply click down!!! easy!
and the Walkman Player looks Nice to, 'Slick' is the word for it
and Walkman Phones on top of that. come with the IN EAR Headphones! with 3.5mm jack! and a decent sized memory card
and on top of all that....Walkman Phones have Great Designs 'Sexy' is the word for them!
and on top of that Walkman Phones have the BEST OS in Phones iv ever seen....
WALKMAN PHONES ARE THE BEST FOR LOADS OF REASONS!

N91 dominated all mobile phones for audio quality and... morei dont know bout u but, i got my new w980 connected to my cars 3.5 head jack and listened to a song, tried my w960, tried my friends n91, and man.. am hearing sounds from the w980 that u cant hear wen playing the song on the other phones! not even the ipod touch!

N91 dominated all mobile phones for audio quality and loudness back in 2005-07 i didnt see that getting an award for good audio quality. if you ask around and look into forums u will notice N91 had the best audio quality and it was so superior even portable mp3 players didnt not even come close to that. EISA are just dumb people going around giving awards out just like that. they either must have got there ear cleaned after all these years.
ive popped down to carphone warehouse today to try it out and what ive gota say is the W980i sound quality is amazing. but however i took my n91 along with just to compare it and the n91 sound is still way better whereas w980i has volume restriction.
