I think you have to do some settings in Camera. Little bit shake is ok in slider. Don't do it intentionally. Read the manual.
When I take pic of something moving from my W995 a clear pic doesnt come. Is there a camera setting to resolve this issue?
Further, a flap shakes a bit. Is it normal with flap phones?
Can the multi tasking handle a few java apps opened together..Like>>nimbuzz and operamini and mig33 ??
i have my w995 now since it was released in SA and i have had no problems... and i agree with anonymous 12-08 cause there no better phones... aino and satio too expensive anyways......hehehehe
I would like to connect my w995 to bluetooth/hands free. i activated the bluetooth and gave search for the new device on phone, but it was unable to found it. plz advise.
I chose the W995 over the Aino, didn't even consider the N86.I can tell you this phone is awesome.
The 2.6 inch screen delivers great quality
Fantastic sound quality
Contrary to some reviews, the kick stand is quite stable
Camera surprised me also,I read a lot of negative reviews regarding this, and imo this camera rocks
Simple yet efficient UI
Full house regarding features
Great keypad, been texting alot recently and have no hassles with it.
I don't like the size of the volume keys and the placement of the Walkman key, that being said it's nothing major to warrant someone not to buy this phone.
Anonymous, 08 Dec 2009i'm proud that many SE "JAVA OS" can compete with nokia and samsung with "symbian OS"Ya we all know how stable symbian n86 is. Still there are bugs and 2 updates for n86 are lined up. W995 has better music, lots of apps, xpict story, track id , smile shutter etc. Now java phones have also wifi. So smartphones are not smart anymore.
It's hard to say whether aino or W995 is better. With the specs, it seems that aino is better. However, I prefer W995 as it has a secondary camera and the appearance is more cool (aino's appearance is like a fun type).
plz help which one to choose Aino or w 995
please vote considering the following terms
1) camera which one
2) numeric keys
Hi guys...Does the browser have flash and java support? Can i watch vidios directly from it?....Thank u
Anonymous, 08 Dec 2009How does the multi tasking work? What button to press to switch tasks? And how much can it take?... moreMulti-tasking is very convenient since there is a shortcut menu where you can access the opened programs. I always listen to music, have facebook in the background, and also playing a game.
Jebas, 08 Dec 2009W995 is not best compare to Nokia N86 8MP... Nokia N86 8MP have symbian OS... But W995 have JA... moreThis Argument or Excuse is a useless reason to go for N86 over W995.
I've owned N95 8GB - Just sold it last week, the Apps were not very innovative in it. and i had 7 Apps and the N95 used to crash especially on N-Gage LOL
With the W995 it has a few pre-installed Games Motion sensored! I can download loads more from PlayNow Arena or the GetJar application i downloaded today. all for Free, and i don't have the hassle of finding apps on my Laptop, as i can just download the Apps on the W995 itself.
So once again, for practically the W995 is way better.
For Nerds the N86 is better as they'll be sat infront of a PC finding Apps for their 'Symbian' All day LOL
Anonymous, 08 Dec 2009N86 takes much better pics & is one of the more stable N seriesWho cares, this is a Sony Ericsson forum
W995 is better because:
1. Retail Package has everything, even a Docking station with built in Speakers which is LOUD!
2. Battery Life, i got upto 5 days with heavy usage
3. Build - W995 is Stainless steel and STRONG! feels expensive!
4. Sound Quality and Walkman - WAAY Light years ahead of Nokia's Lame and Boring N-Series music player and for Sound the W995's 'ClearBass' and 'ClearStereo' make the music come alive
5. Ergonomics - It's easy to carry around, very light, slimline - Unlike the N86 which is a Brick in the pocket
6. Camera 8.1MP - It's as clear as the sound quality
Need i say more? Sony Ericsson FTW
