No TV-out, I saw in the SE website, but not a big waste. And about video recording, good that it's not regular QVGA, WQVGA is not great, but acceptable. Otherwise, GREAT!!!!
the black one really looks good.
good jops SONY ERICSSON!!
it somehow ressembles the w810!
hoping the 8gb is internal.
I think it's beautiful hahaha It looks a little bulky, but I guess that what you get for a phone with (what I believe to be) much improved, better specs than other SE's before. Can't wait for it to come out!
i hope this phone not restart or hangs.. coz i want buy this phone.. Great job Sony Ericsson..!!!
great phone from SE that combines the Walkman, Cybershot and Generation Web series leaving nothing behind. but with much (and strong) competition and let-down in video specs, they'll need an early release and good pricing to hit target.
Looks like this will use a SE operating system correct?
Think I would have preferred Symbian, but then it wouldn't be a Walkman branded model probably. I'll wait for some reviews to come out to see how it sizes up.
Despite the presence of 3.5mm jack (which doesnt have a cover), the "EXPOSED" pop-port is still there..Simply because of its presence, the phone will still look ugly...
SE, pls get rid of those pop-ports!!
the only thing that bothers me is the lack of xenon flash, poor resolution for videos and no dvix codec.is preaty slim and it has all the spesc that you need.nice phone
perfect in every way exept... for the weak video recording..come on sony ericsson you can do better!
Are they going to improve the video playback of the W995? ( which i hope)
Sony Ericsson also announced that they are planning of hitting the video playback from various angles by not only focusing W995 on video, but by providing unlimited movies downloads via the PlayNow Arena Movies service, which would require a monthly subscription.
paulofly, 16 Feb 2009the design could be better and stylish too!! i´m not sure about the integrated stereo speakes... moreThe stereo speakers are found at the top and bottom of the phone. You really have to check out the pictures for you to find answers to your questions.
Looks like a nice phone, just wish it has a document viewer. Does any se have a document viewer or can u download 1?
the design could be better and stylish too!!
i´m not sure about the integrated stereo speakes!!
where are they on the images??
i think they are separated!!can anyone see stereo speakers on the images??
Arrgh.. Finally my dream SE Phone are announce!
By the look at the spec this will be overpriced for sure, but I'm willing to sell my N95 8GB + my(trusted) K750i for this phone...
I'm really hope this phone do not have a flaw...
If there a flaw then..I'll go for touch screen phone.
Idou may be? Hehehe..
They have only implemented the stuff they should have been putting in a long time ago - like 3,5mm jack and wifi. And they have only buckled to pressure coz sales are crashing in this recession. It looks good but its still nothing special: nothing there that you wont get on a Nokia N95, N85, N96 - besides the 8mp camera which is overkill - tranfering 8mp pics via bluetooth will just be a pain!!! Plus its still a "dumb" fone. No operating sys. I'd go for the w795 or g 705 - this w995 seems rather unecessary..... If the price is less than an N85, i would go for it, but given SE's penchant for overpricing their "W" branded handsets - i very much doubt that! Plus where is the fm transmitter - on a music phone this feature makes sense!
