I have both the Arc and the Galaxy2. IMO from using both, the Galaxy is far superior in almost every aspect. The Arc is better looking, but it specs are quite outdated and in fact 2009/10 specs. Both have about the same battery life.
Of course, the Super Amoled Plus screen is far superior and has no yellow, blue etc tint problems. The screen for me is the most important as I use it for photos, videos, games etc
I guess you pay for what you get. The Arc is a cheaper, basic phone, while the Galaxy2 is the current best smart phone and costs more. The Galaxy2 is the winner and I will be selling the Arc soon.
[deleted post]Here is GSMARENA report on Samsung Super Amoled Screen. The Most Respected source of Mobile phones in the World.... 13 May 2011.
All in all, Super AMOLED Plus screens and mobile phones are really meant for each other. It’s a perfect match that reveals all the strengths (unrivaled image quality, perfect viewing angles, energy efficiency and great sunlight legibility), without suffering the traditional OLED weaknesses (higher production costs for larger units and shorter life).
We really can’t see any other screen on the market that could come close to the brilliance of the Galaxy S II unit.
it is xperia arc does not has light sensor?
it will not automatically control the light intensity of the phone:S
plz tel me...plz
hey all i've just bought my arc recently..like around 4 days back or so

after i take photos and view them in the gallery, they r like pixelated
before when i'd view them they would become clear after a second or so but now they dont..i know i have been taking photos the right way..my hand steady and not blurry pics
could u please help?!
my second problem is that whenever i transfer music files to my arc via usb connection or media GO, for some reason my music files keep dissapearing after sometime! why is that? and how do i fix it?
any help would b appreciated and so would an urgent response!
Thanks all for supporting me but the battery is still the same,, it is lasting for one day maximum,,although i did all the settings manually, wifi /bluetooth/3G are off, brightenens is low....
I have another problem:
There are some balck points on the photos taken by the camera,,,despite the fact that the lens are very clean.
Have anyone xperienced this problem? and what is the solution?
Also can anyone suggest to me a battery to buy?
Thank you again!
