Theres a option to move to SD card. However, not all Apps/Games have this option. by applying the "move to Sd" option, i always have 100Mb+ free memory.
The Arc's internal memory is quite low. For installing apps, some say it's no problem because all apps can be stored on memory card, & some say that a portion of the app still needs to be stored on the internal memory.
Can an app be totally stored on the memory card without taking up the internal memory ? Which is correct ?
Can someone clarify please.

Otherwise about bridging calls between clients. I just checked on the market and there are a few apps that allow you do this. You will just need to figure ouch which app will do what u need to do best:)

Hi all, well just help me with the following, I am using sony ericssion w995, now in plan of buying an android based phone at 18k my budget ,
well but I need specifically two function which I feel much needed and useful for me ...
1. Manage call function which is in sony I am using , hope sony users know about tat function..., tat we can only allow a certain person specified in tat list alone to call us ,
2. call recording function as for I wil be in bridge call wit clients,
So can anyone pls help me wit this, or is there any 3rd party software tat can be used for the above function just mention it... It wil be very helpful thanks
Regarding video chating, you csn use Tango which is much better than Skype, the video quality well be outstanding as you eell use the back camera ( 8 m b)...
I have loaded all the music I have on to the phone by cable, but none of it shows up on the phone!?! What files does it read?
from where can we upgrade it to anoroid 2.3 and from where can we downlaod anoroid application through using computer not from mobile
Runs smooth ,but not worthy of price (Rs 27,000) ,no video calling camera, low memory ,no 1080p video playback,720p video recording is quite smooth but colours are very 'washed away type',still camera does good job but in dark areas boosts up the noise level 'no iso setting in camera u.i., macro quality is good but can't go too close, battery slightly less than satisfying ,the worst part- back cover attaches loosely in the back and makes sweaking noise, prone to fingerprints(both screen and body). You might want to run for its beauty but in my opinion sgs2(my friend has) would be a better choice' it also has much elegance and beauty and has almost every thing and the best that a phone can offer. It will do you good for long term usage(1.2gig dual core cpu and 1gb ram ,its likely to receive update for a very long time and support softwares which will be released in future). In India it cost rs 28'000 .Believe me ,It is the best and perfect smartphone available till now at this price......... But, if you are a man/woman who want to buy the perfect of the perfect device then wait a little longer u can get device of some more benifit over sgs2 such as physical camera shutter button(its absence is a flaw of gs2) high resolution display(qhd and hd are just starting to kick in, wvga is slightly dissapointing for 4"+ screens) and if you are lucky you might soon find higher video, still camera quality.
chinnu, 26 Aug 2011I have been reading the comments on this site from last 4 months and have been using Arc from ... moreExcellent review bro....i agree with you...it depends on the usage...people simply get taken away by the specs...arc single core is enough to handle everything if it had been given dual core it would have the power of 1 galaxys2s and other dual cores..
I have been reading the comments on this site from last 4 months and have been using Arc from past 3 months, first when I purchased arc I felt I made a wrong choice, but after upgrading to 2.3.3 and exploring my device completely. I feel it is the best android phone. here are few of my experience with arc.
1. Battery backup last for easily 2 days with moderate use. sometimes 2.5 days
2. It is equally fast compare to sg2 or any other dualcore phones. unless one should know how to use a smart phone.
3. Look wise cannot compare with any other android phones available in the market.
4. Apps can be moved to SD card, so internal memory is not a problem, arc comes with 8gb sd card.
5. Exmor technology is awesome and camera quality is superb. Shooting in low light conditions is just amazing compare to any other phone.
6. Video played on arc is amazing, colors are more brighter and vivid, thanks to bravia engine.
5. One should know it is a smart phone not a super computer to load tons of application and huge games.
7. Performance is great unless one should learn by experience how to use a smart phone.
8. I have never experienced a battery heating up issue in arc inspite of using huge apps like asphalt game.
I dont care if arc is a single core, people keep comparing it with dualcore phone like sg2. if you load huge apps on sg2 the phone gets heated and it is normal for any dualcore to heat when both the cores starts working with huge apps or play games.
believe me if you are not a person who needs video chat, then just go with arc as the performance is great not heating problems, camera is ultimate and build quality is amazing.
