AnonD-550, 29 May 2011im not a fool, i know what is outdated, dualcore apps are not here yet .so you talking about f... moreyes you English seems poor as you say,
because means of outdated outdated refers to " old ".
Dual core processor is newest, sinlge cores like Xperia ARC processor is old,
that means ARC is using outdated processor ,
On the other hand it seems that you don;t know that Applets do not decide to use both dual cores on a dual core not, it is the OS that decides it, NOT applets,
According to the latest news, it was confirmed that the latest update to Android, which is the version 2.3 Gingerbread, would not have full compatibility with the latest Dual-Core processors.
It is not fully compatible but it works up to some extent which mean still it is better than a single core, with future updates single core won't have a chance at all,

AnonD-272, 28 May 2011ARC processor is outdated, Dual core is the latest , you have mistaken to say dual core is out... moreDo you really need a dual core phone? You have quad core computers that do more than a smartphone.
Plus, the Arc's performance is impressive for a single-core phone.
I updated my arc 2 days ago, and it is superb now, with Facebook integration in it and improved battery life..i am really enjoying it..thanks SE.
AnonD-422, 28 May 2011hahaha im happy when i see you here .Oh, i'm also glad to see you here. Yeah you too, make yourself convertible.

AnonD-8722, 27 May 2011what is the difference between x10 and arc? the display has been slightly improved and the s... moreDude, have you got the Xperia Arc? I think not, otherwise you would not post such an ignorant comment. Comparing the Arc with the X10 is like comparing chalk with cheese. I had the X10 and am now using the Arc and it is a dream! I prefer it even though I also have an IP4, it is that good! Plus it has got to be the most thumbable phone ever made, a thing of beauty. Go troll elsewhere!
Any body tried any video player which plays all kinds of formats....like mkv..in arc.pls anybody..I am confused between this and samsung wave2..apart from OS..

Its kind of funny that there is so much chatter about the SGSII on the Arc forum... I am not here to bash the arc nor promote the SGSII - I just wanted to get hands on info about the ARC - But come on please .. Love your phone but dont be silly .. if you like the Arc fine...but there is a reason why all the independant reviews herald the SGSII as the best smartphone ever made. I do agree there are things on the Arc that are superior than the SGSII but over all the SGSII has more to offer.. to whoever stated no apps for dual core..there are other reasons why dual core has an advantage over single core.. but I am sure you already know this........
