for me gs2 is a iphone copy phone and i really hate the design of iphone therefore i dont like the design of gs2. arc has a nice inovative design and its a nice phone. i dont need front camera or the dual quad core procesor on my phone... come on its not a pc. its just a phone. but thats the just my opinion.

why do you all have this ridiculous brand loyalty to sony ericsson? It makes no sense. With your hard earned money, you should buy the best device possible. Sony ericsson cannot provide that and are not being competitive, so why give them your money?
it really makes no sense. buy the best

AnonD-9093, 22 May 2011I got this phone 3 weeks back.
New to android then.
Now I'm saying this:
ARC is everything... moreif you have never used android before then you dont understand what you're talking about
Sony ericsson makes the worst andrid handsets out of everyone in the market.
sell it whilst you can and buy the SGSII. only then will you discover the true power and potential of android
I got this phone 3 weeks back.
New to android then.
Now I'm saying this:
ARC is everything you ever wanted from an ANDROID.
Learn to use an Android.
Learn to choose which apps should run in background, which shouldn't.
Learn to drop apps that you barely use.
Dump the Class2 Stock microSD and buy a Class4 32G.
GET a good 3G data plan.
Learn to switch off features that consume battery.
Learn to love your phone. And it will love you back. Immensely.
Since the T68i I've been a Sony Ericsson fan, had a few minor detours but on the whole I've loved what SE do.
However. I owned Satio and after a few tweaks managed to make it into a half decent phone to add to its fantastic camera. SE let themselves down by using Nokia's symbian OS. I now have an X10 which I love dearly.
Ahead of time I knew there would be three contenders for my next upgrade, the Arc being the one I hoped would be the best choice re spec and camera. Alas, since the release of all three it seems the Arc is lacking somewhat in comparison to my other two choices, Sensation & Galaxy S ll. From what I've read on the other two threads it seems the Sensations camera isn't up to scratch but apart from that the Arc might not be as fast or as future proof as either the Sensation or the Galaxy S ll.
I get a feeling I might not be going for a Sony Ericsson phone this time but if I can be convinced by any of you guys I'm welcome to your opinions.
