nick, 09 May 2011the arc is a mid-range phonei have to say calling this device a mid range phone is incredibly harsh, been disappointed with an x10 or satio recently then?
over at tech radar this device was voted as their top phone and it took the sgs2 to overthrow it.
granted its all down to personal choice.
im very happy with my arc and when some apps come along in the next year to challenge the dual core devices i'll be first in line for one, until then i feel that single core is absolutely fine.
ok, but can we all accept that there can be no comparison between the sgs II and the arc, as the sgs II is simply in another league

Anonymous, 09 May 2011Is ironic that you are using that review to prove that person lying when the shootout was some... moreIs Eldar the one that did the shaky arc pics? I can't be bothered to go on his website. If not, there is one with arc and sgs2, and it gets me mad everytime. We trust the reviewers to give their true feel about the handset and some of them are faking it to promote their fav!
nick, 09 May 2011why would you lie? If he is going to spend his money on an expensive smartphone, dont lie.
... moreIs ironic that you are using that review to prove that person lying when the shootout was somewhat, shaky for the arc. I don't think you need be to a photo expert to prove that. Another thing is, elder or whatever this russian guy is called, "declared" war on sony ericsson in 2008. He isn't going to review any of their devices and what have we got here!? His site is one of the first to receive the neo and now comparing photo quality with sgs2?! Weird isn't it, that the se hating reviewer is review a handset from a company he hates, will the shoot out be biased we all ask!
Side note: If they are comparing htc desire s with arc in terms of camera i would understand why that russian guy feel the need to shake the arc a bit when taking the pics, but sgs2 has a good enough camera anyway.
nick, 09 May 2011sgs II destroys arc in an 8-megapixel shootout http://www.mobile-review.com/review/samsung-... moreYes,abhi absolutely wright,Eldar Murtazin is definitely paid by samsung! He is russian and i am too,you need to hear what crazy things he said about arc on the radio!!!!)))Was so funny to listen!!!!!))))
I would like to know the battery life of Arc...like how many hours it run with video player...I mostly watch movies and videos
I have heard it has a poor battery....plz let me know as I am eager to buy this lovely handset :)
MR O, 09 May 2011Great Phone!
In various pro reviews and user feedback folks have been quick to point out vari... more+1
and for the people comparing the sgs2, sgs2 is better in terms of specs, but you will have to pay a little more. It's really up to your own budget.
jack, 09 May 2011 its much better than galaxy, why would you lie? If he is going to spend his money on an expensive smartphone, dont lie.
the samsung galaxy II is a much much much better phone is basically every department. it is the best phone out at the moment. What's more, is that it is futureproof. It wont be outdated for over a year.
this arc however is already outdated!!
get the SGS II!!

KALYAN, 08 May 2011plz. tell me the music sound quality of phone,is it loud or averageSuperb sound quality and medium volume...
Kam , 08 May 2011Sent my Arc back to Orange UK due to Wifi issues and poor camera (In my opinion). To top it... moreThis could be a one off case with your piece . I use it to watch youtube videos at a distance of > 20 feet using wifi, hdmi on my LCD TV. connection is fine . Not faced any bugs till date and it is very smooth and fast . Quality control is very critical and manufacturers should define acceptability % .
gregg, 08 May 2011A lot of hype about the phone.
After using it 2 months here are the:
- no SW upda... more- Which phone have software updates after 2 months & many to follow?
- Main menu rotation for what? Go for pro.
- Contacts problem? Android market.
- Do you know active widgets kill a lot of battery life for android phones?
- Slide left to unlock, right to silent mode.
- Use task killers to free lags.
- No leather bag in my region - no comments.
- There is already one screen protector applied & another one in box.
- Buy a htc if it bothers you.
- Use a slip-on case.
- No problems for my emails & gmails.
- Support up to 32gb card, how much memory you need?
Obviously, you trolled.
jk88, 09 May 2011halo may i know is the all applications and games i dowload is save in phone memory or memory ... moreapplications are saved on phone memory but most of them(not all) can be moved o the memory card
yelbadawi, 09 May 2011Very good phone but not perfect:
* Low internal memory (512 MB only).
* Slow performance.
*... moreIm using arc & I got different experiences to share.
1) Memory problem? Buy memory card. Last i heard somebody complained iphone w/o memory card.
2) Smooth & fast performance. Tried juicedefender & it lags my phone w/o much battery life saved.
3) Dont need home screen rotation. Maybe you like phones with qwerty buttons.
4) It gets warm during some graphic intensive games, no problems with phone in casing.
5) My battery last for one & half day with moderate uses - few calls, games, texting & data.
