IKS, 23 Apr 2011Is it true that Battery life is pathetic?yes it is...you have to keep the charger or thge USB cable with you wherever you go.
Purchased this gadget from spice hotspot in Bangalore for 28000 best buy and I got Sennheiser headset free with that..
The Arc is just amazing handset.. The screen of the handset is awesome..
The mobile bravia engine can be switched on when necessary like watching movies and images.. So as to increase battery life..
The screen sensitivity is just amazing..
The first time u hold u will notice tht even n73 is heavier..
Camera is of professional quality.. Only missing is the image filters..
Hem is a good addition
The only downside is the Available Ram.is only around 280 to 300 mb.. All applications cant be transferred to as card so atleast 1 gb ram was necessary..
The battery with even heavy usage is around 18-20.hrs..
Gaming is a treat on this handset..
The price should have been around 25k..
Overall this handset is a treat for everyone..
If if budget is around buy HTC desire s.. Its also a grt handset as. Have used it for a day.. There was no with deathgrip issue on tht as gsmarena was pointing out....
guys i'm very much confused which cell should i buy
from xperia arc or blackberry torch?
please help me...
I have N8 and ARC now. ARC es very good performance, but battery falls too fast.
Android launch various applications which constantly exhausted the battery.
It is not normal to charge twice a day ....

Gomsi, 23 Apr 2011Yipeeee.... Check this.... Xperia ARC ..number 1 .....!!!! http://www.techradar.com/new... moreThis is not the 20 top best seller. It's the 20 top best phone according to Techradar which is useless because Arc, Desire, Galaxy S cannot stand against the Optimus 2X, HTC Sensation, Galaxy S2 and Moto Atrix. Give us a link of best sell with Arc or any SE phone as number 1. Even in Canada.
tired of waiting for SGS-II,blody samsung x-( !!!really need a device which can replace my samsung galaxy s-i9000,what do u reckon guys???
and...can someone please tell me,weather arc supports video formats like MP4/DivX/XviD/WMV/H ???nothing written in the specifications about it...anybody with hands on experience??? TIA,cheers :-)
Frnds, I hear there is no video calling in ARC ? Is that true ? Which is the best smart phone with video calling....
Anonymous, 23 Apr 2011There are s0 many annoying Samsung Iphone and LG user trying to put down this beautiful device... moreTrue... and if You have used other brands as I have (being loyal user since 2003 but had other brands previously and sometimes by a secondary phone from another company sometimes just to know how they are doing...) you would appreciate SE quality even more! Great phones!
I don't need the Arc, my old K810i is still very fine but the arc is driving me nuts! I know I don't need it, I know I shouldn't buy a phone so expensive but... I WANT IT!
Thinking of buying it anyway but still trying to be practical and resist the temptation.
I have been using this fone for 3 weeks now and I love it!!! Battery life is surprisingly good. Of course you cannot expect a smartfone to last a day if you keep the default settings on. But my arc lasts more than a day with heavy internet usage. If I keep internet/gps off then the battery last 1 and half to 2 days wich is superb! I would recommend people to keep GPS WiFi 3G EDGE turned off when not in use and see the battery do wonders. keep widgets for each service. also download task killer apps that wud kill any background app u r no longer using. If you follow these steps, any smartfone will last more than a day. I have switched many smartfones and Arc seems to be giving the best battery life of all. Credit goes to Gingerbread power management I suppose.
Looks are gr8 but Im a bit skeptical about the muscle of this mobile. the plastic looks cheap and the battery cover finishing is not good as your fingerprints become prominent there.
Great display, superb music, superb camera... this fone put a whole in my pocket but it was really worth it. Auto Brightness feature is also enabled in retail version. Plus my set came with a free HDMI cable. Hats off SE... u have created a marvel!
Gomsi, 23 Apr 2011Yipeeee.... Check this.... Xperia ARC ..number 1 .....!!!! http://www.techradar.com/new... moreYes techradar is right with the review, yes its nice in the hand as i tried in a shop BUT i cant get one because they have sold out where i am.So i will have to wait and just read the reviews of others using Arc and be just slightly jealous.
