Well i will have my opinion and its cannot wait for this baby.S/E is on the way up again for sure.My money is here now for this beast.
Many websites indicate that the Xperia Arc comes with 8 GB of internal memory. If this is correct, it is not reflected in the gsmarena specifications for this phone.
abhi, 23 Jan 2011I agree with u.
Plastic is more better than metal bcoz in case of plastic if the phone is dro... morenot just this, another bigger reason why plastics are better than metal body is because at such high frequencies of communications even the smallest metal piece act as an antenna and it can radiate, causing detuning of main antenna (similar issue and live eg. is the Iphone 4 that suffers from this genetic disorder).
so people cribbing for metal body should understand the technicalities first and then demand for the outer appearance, designing and developing a phone Hardware (electronics and mechanics) always have a trade off.
now you decide if you need beauty or the performance.
hayato, 23 Jan 2011whoa! 32 multitouch! Is it 32 fingers at the same time?i dont think there is any use for it, i'm talking about recognising 32 touch at the same time, 4 is enough, maybe more than enough, is there any source for 32 fingers?!
i always thought gingerbread ui was better than moto blur.. but our chief said it will be a blockblouster,, he now knows the circumstancer,,, steve jobs enjoys still
ATRIX & ARC & OPTIMUS 2X & SGS 2 & DHD , VENUE - all of them rocks they are twins , they run android , i love android , you can choose your phone as you wish it to be .
2. Sexy design
3. High screen reolution
4. Super fast

6. I love live wallpapers
8. 1000+ games
9. Work super + easy to use it
10 I cant stop talking good about android , so better i stop here :)
hayato, 23 Jan 2011I think plastic is better for phones bec. it absorbs impact more than any other material can. ... moreI agree with u.
Plastic is more better than metal bcoz in case of plastic if the phone is dropped than it absorbs most of the shock to itself , it may damage the body but the internal hardware is kept safe but in metal body shock is transferred to the internal hardware which can result in seriously damaging of phone's internal hardware.
It's always good to have a safer internal system than the outer body.
hayato, 23 Jan 2011whoa! 32 multitouch! Is it 32 fingers at the same time?Yeah ,
It's 32 fingers at the same time.
I think plastic is better for phones bec. it absorbs impact more than any other material can. It also never hinders your phone's antenna to look for a signal.
But i want to have some metal too. Out of my compulsion of having a phone that feels cold and premium. However, that's not a big issue. I can choose whatever phone i want while ignoring this feature. Still, metal is not such a big requirement for me.
I'll leave a question this time: how many future android versions do you guys think xperia arc will survive through? Will dual cores be ever be a system requirement. Maybe by the time we have jellybean, or muffins?(whatever m-dessert that is)
>Yes same MEGA PIXELS with x10 but with EXMOR Technology, which is perfect for low light condition.
>Yes same Processing clock, but with low NANOMETER for ARC at 45NM compare to X10 with 65NM. Which means lower power consumption that can save battery life.
1st Generation QSD8250 at 65NM for X10, 2nd Generation MSM8255 with ADRENO 205 GPU(for graphics acceleration) at 45NM for ARC
>Very good design and the thinest at the same time lightweight smart phone.
>AND THE ONLY PHONE as of now to have MULTI-TOUCH ALL POINT technology.
Haha, who needs dual core? Get a tablet PC if you want a dual core. Smart phone doesn't need a dual core. Single core can do the job.
still we have bunch of kids in this forum
even it will be a shame to some people to even discuss in this forum
nothing to learn from
and as for the plastics , there is nothing wrong to be made of pure plastic , please note that plastic has revolutionised the modern industry
without plastic we could not have the prosperity of todays life , ,
and as for the specifications , I bet that no one in this forum will use half of the real capabilities of this phone , these new phones to be used fullt , you should first understand how Android works with its hardware .
Battery : this is a big issue to discuss and comment on , and this is the one of the biggest probelm of any manufacturer at the desigh stage
,,, still there isnt a big step taken in the market for the betteries , but soem new innovations are available in the market ,,
I am just waiting SE touchscreen Qwerty keyboard in Android OS (pro taste for sure...)
Imagine..if SE Vivaz pro in Android platform...(after change to lux body metal obviously..) It could be A King..beating Nokia E7 or Samsung Galaxy 551...
Dear CEO of SE...I am waiting such gadget in reasonable price..(around 280 euro)...
Go SE..be the best
and also the EXMOR technology + the MULTI-TOUCH ALL-point.
Who needs SAMSUNG and LG? All they do is to COPY EVERTHING, and hooray you have a INSTANT phone.
I don't need a DUAL CORE to power up a phone.
And for the INFO. The advantage of ARC from x10.
-1st GEN QUALCOMM QSD8250 of X10 has 65NM compare to 2nd GEN QUALCOMM MSM8255 with ADRENO 205 GPU (graphics related matter) at 45NM of ARC means LESS power consumption due to lower NANOMETER usage.
Or if you have the patience you can wait for the 3rd generation of QUALCOMM with dual core CPU's. (who cares about DUAL CORE? A PHONE is a PHONE, and it doesn't need a DUAL CORE in it. Better use a LAPTOP for that matter.
-SUPERB design and lightweight
AND MANY MORE.
This will be the phone that will satisfy my needs, for several years.
