But I have read that the Arc also can be overclocked to 1.4Ghz. Arc S and Arc has the same processor.

[deleted post]Initially when I bought the phone I did not have that feature but after one of the updates it started behaving like that. The widgets start floating around when we use pinch to zoom in home screen. When we shake the phone, the widgets reshuffle themselves. Cool feature!!!
I should have one of this fantastic phone!! I nust stole it from Smart network
they should make one with a keyboard like the Xperia pro
and call it the Xperia ARC pro.
[deleted post]Thanks buddy!!! I had xperiablog in my mind. Our friend Ustu had adviced me to regularly check Xperialog but I hardly get time or i hardly remember it when i have time. Ajmal Basheer, 16 Feb 2012Oops!!! I shoudl've googled before asking that silly question. DId now. Thanks for the info bro...You should check out xperiablog.net. They have the latest news on all Xperia phones. Official + non-official. I just got the 'Cosmic Flow' live wallpaper, the official Xperia S wallpaper. Pretty.
I bought this device two weeks ago, and it is running perfectly with no lags at all... My problem is: when I put the initial memory card, the pictures don't open!!!! And the gallery "force close"... Can someone help me??? PLEASE...

clintmamerto, 15 Feb 2012Does this support email from work? Or do you still need to download an app for that?Of course it does supoprt office email. I can get my office email on my phone but I have not enabled it now coz in my office email server configuration I can receive email only on one client device. So I preferred office PC itself. So you see, it depends on the ability of your office network system and email server configuration whether you can receive it on your phone. Get in touch with the office technical team and they should be able to tell you if it is possible and if yes, how to configure it.

I guess Armaan has mistook SE OS version 4.0 for the Android 4.0. And what did you mean by the 'initiative with cyanogenmod'? I know cyangenmod but what has Sony to do with it?
i'v been SE arc for the last 6mnths & its amazing. one little problem...i v been trying to update my software on my PC Companion but it says "no phone detected" when it tells me to switch to Media Transfer mode. it can detect it in mass storage tho bt wen i have to updte its needs me to switch to media transfer. how can solve this.....
I've had the Arc for about 6 months now.
Although it does suffer the occasional force-close and it gets a bit laggy sometimes, I cannot ask for a better phone.
I pledge my loyalty to SE(Just S now :P). You have restored my faith in you with this phone.
Kudos on the regular updates and the initiative with cyanogenmod.
Get Sony. With their re-kindled love for the customer base, you cannot go wrong.
Armaan, 14 Feb 2012ICS Update Available Now :) :)
Just Upgraded .. Its Osum
thnxx Sony EricssonYou're mistaken. That was a minor update. I got it too. The ICS Update is coming in Q2.
The UI hasn't changed at all! How did you think it was ICS??
I have had this phone for about a month now..I have the pink one and have to say its amazing..no matter what others have to say about it..you would only buy something that feels good and looks good to yourself...thats what i did and dont regret having spent money on it..infact its worth every penny....
the features are cool and ics is due soon..the phone will be more better than it is now..
I have had the SGS2 and i have to say the Arc S is far better than that phone...in my veiw its the arc s that wins...
