how can i download other pa... moreOk, now i got the picture clearly, thanks to my good friend Ajmal Basheer, without his post regarding the flash videos, i was nowhere.now the problem is, right now, i don't have my arc to check, so all i can do is suggesting u some apps that should do the job.so i request u & Ajmal Basheer to test these apps & make us know what happens.
Now, Dolphin browser hd fully supports flash content, so when u save a page using Dolphin browser hd, it should copy the page with the flash contents as well.
For downloading videos, pls, try these apps from market, among these, may be u should find one useful---Video Downloader/Lite, VIDEO DOWNLOADER, WebVideoDownloader/Lite, Video Catcher.
& once again sorry, that i can't provide u full solution.......really sorry for that.....

Tho I'm not sure if I understood the difference between both video modes in technical - a bit complicated for me to understand, I'm noob - I can see now why the pictures from my cable tv programs could not be as good as if I watched them before on my old glass screen tv. Currently using a Sony BRAVIA 3D, and the wiki article says that it naturally is a progressive display, some visible artifacts will be visible while playing interlaced video.
Thanks and regards
Hey Ustu, since we had talked about upgrading to cyanogenmod I have a doubt. We have BRAVIA option that can be disabled and enabled on our default OS, but if we install cyanogenmod, would BRAVIA be defaulted to on at all times or off? How would it be?
The reason I'm concerned about BRAVIA is because, I recently bought Sony BRAVIA Full HD Television and played a normal DVD rip movie on it. The file had a resolution of 600x272 which is very small compared to the 1080p screen. I didn't feel any problem in the image reproduction, no pixelation. Later I played the same file on my computer, which has a Samsung 1080p monitor and the image was pixelated. That is when I actually noticed that I did not have this problem in the TV and that is when I actually checked the resolution of the file. Then I played the file on my Arc, no pixelation. So, I feel that it is the BRAVIA that is doing the trick. So BRAVIA is not just a marketing trick, that thing really works and does wonders. Sony ROCKS!!!

yy, 29 Nov 2011what should i do before updating my arc ? i dont want to loose my appsYou can update by given options in computer I just updated yesterday and nothing lose any thing
This a great phone which offers some amazing stand out features. It combines the best of Android and the Sony Bravia technology to create an easy to use top of the range smartphone. I own an Arc and the camera and video performance is simply incredible. People are quick to jump on and get a samsung galaxy S2 or an iphone 4s which are often very more expensive alternatives. DONT disregard this phone its fantastic and i challenge anyone to find a better phone, value for money!! This phone for me is superb if you want a good camera and an exciting smartphone experience.

Hi guys i am using Xperia Arc for 6 month++ but i cant find the Touch Focus function , everytime i wanna snap a picture it just auto focus but not touch focus , so anyone can tell me or teach me how to use the touch focus please ? thank you
i 'm using xperia arc for 6months++ but it does not have touch focus on the camera function , so i wonder is it me or it do not have touch focus ? hope i can get some answer thank you..
In my opinion the arc is the best camera phone on the market! When I first started using my arc and its camera I was gobsmacked!! The bravia engine screen technology really brings your pictures to life. Along with the 8mp camera and exmore r sensor you can not make a better choice if your looking for a new phone/camera.

Verde Ithaca, 26 Nov 2011Hi everyone, I have a question: what does 1080p or 720p exactly mean? I thougt 1080p means 10... morep and i denotes the standard in which the video file is diplayed on your screen. p stands for progressive scanning and i stands for interlaced scanning. files with p(progressive scanning) will be greater size but has higher quality compared to ones with i(interlaced scanning). Commonly p files are better preferred than i files for dvds and bluerays but cable tv people prefer i as it uses only half the bandwidth needed by p signals. 1080p is 1920x1080 resolution and 720p files are 1280x720 resolution. if you have a 1080p screen, viewing a 1080p file is better than a 720p file as it can use the full capability of the screen and show every detail of each frame. the reason why it switches to 576i when viewing the cable tv is because the tv signal that you receive is 576i standard, which means it is 576 pixels vertical resolution(interlaced). your tv automatically detects that it is 576 pixels interlaced signal that it is receiving and so switches automatically to that mode so that it can fit that small 576i video to the mighty 1080p screen without losing the aspect ratio of the frame. the output of ps3 is 1080p and so when you use tv to view ps3 video, it detects the 1080p signal from ps3 and switches to 1080p mode. Please feel free to ask if I have not made myself clear. Thank you...
