Sony retained much of the staff and the phones only became better. The design change you are talking about to slate of the Z series was universal.

This was my first Android phone and I loved everything about it. It was a good compliment getter too; random people would often ask me what phone that was when I used it in public (it was rare in Canada, where I am). I still have it and it still works, but I haven't used it since 2012.

I was a big fan of Sony Ericsson. I was very shocked when the joint venture between Sony and Ericsson ended. Of course, Sony Ericsson's design engineer was a highly skilled person. No company has been able to provide a unique design like Sony Ericsson till date.

Good old days when sony had the best Phones and cameras, i have so much memories with that phone i also remember buying the Samsung Galaxy J1 after this one had port issues

I still have it. I resisted upgrading until now because it had removable battery and 3.5mm stereo socket. Shame the Android Gingerbread OS doesn't support internet access anymore which forced me to give it up.
