Anonymous, 21 Aug 2012Please answer if you know anything regarding ICS update of this phone. Is it stable? Any probl... moreIt's OK, no problems it all. I use it since Sony published the update. So don't worry :)
Guys there's really no need to update. GB is running smoothly, perfectly on our Arc S. I, for one, have downgraded to GB.
GSM Arena is a bit late, the 4.1.B.0.587 update was out 10 days ago. My advice is to stay out of any ICS update. The so-called "tweaks" and "improvements" are just cosmetic. ICS still eats a lot of RAM and gets laggish after 2 or 3 days of usage (even after performing a factory reset just after the update). As I wrote in previous posts, stick to GB if you want the best from your Arc S. There's a hope this could change with JellyBean (if it ever gets to 2011 Xperias) but I wouldn't out my money on it.
