2-512 MB of RAM (Other Phones Has 1 GB)
3-No Full-HD Video Recording
4-320 Mb of Storage (Other Phones has 16/32 GB)
5-Outdated version of Bluetooth
6-No HD Display (Found in Samsung Nexus)
7-No GLONASS (Found in Galaxy Note/iPhone 4s/Razer)
8-No FM transmitter (Found in all Nokia Phones)
10-Poor Battery (1500 vs 2500 in Galaxy Note)
however it has a good design in slim form factor
i think this a big step for Sony Ericsson, they have improved so much. i love this phone to death.
I have been using the Xperia Arc S for a few days now and I must say I am VERY impressed. Having been an iPhone user for over two years I was a bit dubious over the switch to android but the Arc S has made that very easy!
The first thing that really wowed me was the screen quality. I use my phone for YouTube A LOT and the difference the "Mobile Bravia Engine" makes compared to my old iPhone is outstanding, very bright, very vibrant and just a joy to watch!
I also love the new "Facebook inside Xperia". The ability to simply pick any app on my phone, press and hold then drag to the "share" icon at the top of the screen and have that app shared via my Facebook status is a really really nice feature.
Another small feature that made my swap to the Arc S easy is the introduction of screenshot capture, an often overlooked feature, is very important to be and i was very happy to find it on the Xperia Arc S!

Ola&Olu, 27 Nov 2011I am Using Xperia Arc S, am having problem with my Gallery, each time i open it, it does load ... moreCheck that the Facebook Inside isnt on - locate din Accounts & Sync, if you don't need Facebook inside, switch it off, or un tick the gallery option.
This should sort it
In response to Super amoled - who needs a super bright menu? I would rather have super bright, super impressive video playback personally, but then I guess I am just being a bit picky?!?! or a little bit real? arc S all the way for me...
This phone really is the future now, the camera as shown is 8.1 mega pixel, the cameras on the Sony Ericsson phones (in my opion) have always been the best on the market, now with the Exmor R chip from the Sony Digital Cameras this makes it stand out from the crowd, being able to take pictures in low light and still get a great picture proves Sony Ericsson have got it right again. Not only that but also the bravia engine thats runs the Sony tv's is now in the phones, only activated when watching
you tube, videos etc, this enhances the quality.
Software updates via Android also tweek and improve the Sony Ericsson phones all the time and with the latest update they have included 3d pictures and video and also 3d panaromic pictures, so why wait for tommorrow's technology when you can get it today, go and get this Sony Ericsson Arc S you wont regret it!!!!

Having had the Xperia Arc S for almost two months now I am falling more and more in love with it. Despite having had many other phones in the past including the iPhone 4, this is by far my favourite. There are so many ways to personalise it, and so many cool features it has, for example when on the music player, the background colour changes to match the album art.
I feel Sony Ericsson have really pulled it out of the bag with the Arc S. With an exceptional camera that has won many awards and screen technology that is second to none and even more processing power than its predecessor why would you not want one? The exmor R feature on the camera is truly brilliant, it takes miles better photos in low light than even my fancy digital camera, and the clarity is astounding. When on holiday at the beach in cornwall i found it was taking better photos than any of my friends phones or indeed my digital camera.
As for the design, well it's sleek and slim, and classy looking, what's not to like? Being on the latest version of android too, (that is gingerbread 2.3.4 and soon to be updated to icecreamsandwich) I find the battery life lasts me 1.5-2 days which is pretty decent for todays smartphones, especially as I regularly listen to music on it as i travel to work. Speaking of which, coming with an 8GB memory card in the box is a big win for me! Android is by far the lead operating system and with so many ways to personalise this phone its so easy to make it your own. My phone is my everything, my contact, my music player, my camera. This phone does it all.
Go on, get your hands on an Xperia Arc S. You won't regret it :-)
