To all SE Xperia Arc S users...Many Xperia Arc users complained about cracks around the proximity sensor and there r even videos of it in Youtube...So my query is that Has anyone noticed cracks around the proximity sensor on the Arc S like the previous Arc?
What is the thing with internal memory, is there any problem with installing the apps, how many without removing the others?
What is the screen glass made of, i mean is it Gorilla glass and how durable is for scratches?
Can you wear it in pants or it will brake, you know how good it's build?
And finally the battery life 1, 2, 3 days? I know i know, ''if you are a heavy user'' blah blah blah
And can u use led light for flashlight from the box or you have to download an app from android market?
And one more tricky question.
If buying again would you choose this phone or SGS2?
I ask this because provider put almost the same prices between this two 100€ (the contract is for 2 years), so little help is need it.
Thanks for it.
The best ANDROID DEVICE i have used so far (* used 5 different types already)
It costs me 330 EURO (S.Asian Region Price). I must say that the investment is well paid off.
Even with a single core CPU it can perform as good as Galaxy S II (which is equipped with a Dual Core CPU)
1. Very Fast Device; Almost 0% response lag.
2. Battery runs well up to 8-10 hours under heavy use. ( 2hrs talk, 1hr HD video, 50 mins browsing, 45 mins game, rest includes Text msg, Reading books in Adobe Reader, social updates on wifi, Maps and Android market and a little bit of music)
*** On average use it lasts almost 36-48 hours.
3. Highly customizable home screen, u can add folders and put apps in it and keep it in the home screen for quick access) Enables more shortcut in home screen.
4. Very Good Audio Quality, Great Camera & 720p video recording is one of the best i have seen so far.
5. Even with a minimum screen brightness (0-5)% you can work quite well, i keep it 25-35% for me.
6. Runs HD games smoothly.
7. Please do not install Any Task Killer software, it basically creates pressure on CPU and also drains battery a lot.
** Those who are worried about battery, I can assure u that the battery performance will increase after 1-2 weeks use. The battery started to take heavy load easily for my device after 10-12 times of charging after 2 weeks.
** So if you are planning to purchase an Android device within 250-280 Euro, I would request you to increase the budget little bit more and invest 330 (Asian Region price) on this. You won't be disappointed.
I don't think is there any competition with this phone....only name is suffiecient SONY

Riyu, 17 Nov 2011Hi Everybody, Can anybody let me know that SE Xperia Arc S is better or the Samsung Galaxy SI... morei work at the cellphone store and i compared all that devices face to face gs2 arc s and also htc amaze in usa!)And i can definitely tell you that gs2 and htc are better than arc just on the paper!!!!!In real life perfomance and every day usage you can't find something better than arc s!!!It has best display sound camera and what is the most important user friendly interface, and the most ergonomic body what is very important for daily usage!!!!!
I can tell everyone that i use this phone for about 2 weeks and i was pleased to have it...at first, coz it works a little bit faster then my ex phone SE Satio, and the display it's quite good, but i'm not verry satisfied of the camera...it works fine, but pictures came out plasticate...seems a bit unreal comparative with my ex phone, and above all,the music quality is lower than Sony phones...at least this is my opinia.
I'm planning to leave behind Samsung and return to Sony....I think that this SE Arc S will satisfy me more...:)
i have used my arc for a while now it looks great its got the best camera i can ever ask for and the videos are amazing to watch with the bravia engine now the arc s has come out and has made the phone even better and faster loving the smoothness of the phone its quick and looks amazing in white best phone out yet
the arc s is faster more powerful and better than before it takes the arc and makes it even better than before the camera cant be beaten the exmor r lens gives the best photos in lowlight condition than any other phone in the market and i love my phone and love my apps i dont have to pay for majority of my apps unlike other app stores
Can somebody help mee out....i have one question reag the option in ARc S......I just booked the phone....Is Arc S have option to record the call while talking on the phone
