definitely Xperia mini is a good option when compared to WILDFIRE...
it has a veryyy god PROCESSOR compared to wildfire,
a very decent RAM, and user available memory.
it is getting android 4.0 update.
it has nice pixel density.
it has a well built android User interface.
it records HD videos.
and most probably its a XPERIA phone frm SE...;)
it's loud speaker and camera very near,
can camera performance occure any due to speaker vibration.

Oh. Just an update, after the calibration fix everythings back to normal. No overheating nor ghost user problems anymore. Yey! :)
The only thing I don't like about this mini monster is the screen flickering whenever the brightness is low. I tried asking the SE support about it though unfortunately as per them its "Normal". :(
FYI: If you wanna try the "Calibration Fix" please back up all the data's you don't wanna lose (Contacts, Messages, Apps, Pictures && Songs) cause everything will be erased after the update. Calibration Fix will only take about 1 hour and 30mins.
Xperia Mini is AWESOOOOME! :)
Bravia Engine, Xloud, HD video, 5 megapixel with zoom and flash, Upgradable to Android Ice Cream Sandwich (nextyear), Lightweight and compact.
I bought mine about 2 weeks ago and everythings working fine aside from the overheating and ghost user problem 'I've encountered on the 4th day after I bought it. After I expreienced it, I did some research and found out that its a common minor problem of Xperia Mini and a good thing abou it is SE Tech Support knows about it and was able to come up with a resolution for that which is the "Calibration Fix". This isn't a DIY process therfore if ever you encountered this problem don't hesitate to bring it to your local SE service center and they'll know what to do about it. By the way if your phone is still under warranty its for FREE though if its not you'll nedd to pay them its around PHP560 here in the Philippines. ;)
Hope this one is useful.
I've had mine for a week now and I'm so loving it, no problems or whatsoever. But I wanna share my friend's experience when she got hers. Bought it for 11k+ philippine pesos with extended warranty from a cellphone retailer. Barely a month, she already had problems with the phone starting from it freezing up. She had it repaired and was told that the phone just needs to be updated. Several days after the repair, she had to take the phone back again and have it fixed because of overheating problem. The menu keeps on popping up and she can't do anything from her phone. I haven't heard from her yet since the last repair. :D
What i wanna say is that it's just a case to case basis. Or has something to do with the phones that was first released. When I bought mine (from a wireless provider), the OS is already up to date. Compared to my friend, hers had Gingerbread when she bought it.
Xperia mini rocks! What more could i ask for!?
szeze, 20 Dec 2011is the camera works with zoom feature ?yes, it does have a zoom feature on its camera

Last night I couldnt touch even the display, coj those touch soft keys were automatically active...made me angry on it :/
How to b free frm this? HELP!!!!!!!
So how much is this in Manila now? Less than 11,000?
And what Samsung model gives similar performance in a small Android fone? Because i dont appreciate the flickering screen of the Xperias, Sony refuses to give us a way to turn off the light sensor. HTC is not an option, too much lag, and LG has a less than convincing quality. Compact samsung android below 12k anyone? not 5570 ofcors, its so ret@rded =)
Pritish, 19 Dec 2011@siddhart: i have read the reviews from http://talk.sonyericsson.com/thread/23313?start=105&am... moreThey got the phone from the first batch of xperia mini. Those batch were even pulled out because of the problems caused by the overheating. I just got my phone 2 days ago at a Sony Ericsson Store, so far I'm not encountering any problems. the manufacturing date is 11w41. I heard this is the new batch that doesn't have any problems. Anyway if you got those overheating problems, you can just go for the Sony Ericsson Service Center and ask for "calibration fix". It's free since it still covers 1 year warranty.
Pritish, 19 Dec 2011@siddhart: i have read the reviews from http://talk.sonyericsson.com/thread/23313?start=105&am... moreThe problem with reading reviews on the net is that most happy customers rarely bother to share their experience. So don't go by sheer numbers. I never had the capacitive button problem. And many people who did got it fixed by software calibration done at the SE service centre. Also, many sammy fanboys troll around other phone blogs, and spread false rumours. So don't trust the ones by anonymous people.
I would suggest you go for it. Still, if anyone has not got their phone fixed even after calibration, please reply to this post.
